- Gdays guys, in todays video I'll take you through how I installed this beast of a light bar on my 2011 Toyota Aurion atx using a license plate nudge bar bracket. Its just a run down of where and how I mounted my light bar, where i ran the cables that came with the lightbar and some of the issues i came across on this small project. Hope it helps if your planning on installing one yourselves. Hope you enjoy!

Nice video. First video I've found where someones actually explained and showed where all the cables and wires go, cheers.
Gonna attempt this on the weekend
Thanks and good luck with your installation, hope it goes smoothly
@@timeverett449 cheers, went smoothly although there's no highbeam relay for mine, so it just turns on and off with the switch it came with. It's what I get trying to go for the cheapest thing I could find on Amazon. I might have to order a proper relay wiring harnesses with a highbeam relay
Hey mate is it legal to screw into the metal bar you screwed into I just don’t want issues when I’m trying to rego my car is it a possible write of ?
Honestly not sure, I've only had to pay my registration and not get a check over. I dont think it would be a wright off as ive just used 2 x10mm screws to hold it on solidly which im pretty sure wouldn't compromise the structure in anyway. When i initially installed it there were other holes in the front frame anyway behind the bumper which from looking are just part of the design of the metal. Ive also never been told by authorities when ive been stopped that its not roadworthy.
Hey mate, I've got a 2016 camry which looks basically the same as this. High beams and light bar work but now low beams have stopped working. Any ideas haha
Do the low beams work at all still?
@@timeverett449 yep they work when high beams are on
@@jmanpecka hmm, perhaps do some further fault finding to narrow down the issue and see where the power should be going or isnt going. The low beams seem to be getting there power from the high beam circuit rather than their own. I'm not sure if the models are different with regards to wiring. I used my multimeter to test the cables before tapping into the high beam circuit to ensure i got the right cable. My low beams are completely unaffected.
Hey bro what bracket did u use to attach the stedi light to the license plate bracket ?!!! Thanks
Sorry for the delay, this is the bar I got from autobarn, attached link www.anacondastores.com/clothing/jackets-outerwear/down-insulated/cederberg-womens-retro-mawson-hooded-puffer-jacket/BP90181511-khaki-light-rose-lining
Do you think the light bounces off the ground too much since it's mounted low on the bumper?
Initially before installation I was concerned it might be the case. However once I installed it, I wasn't as concerned. I've seen people mount them in the grill section under the number plate and I definitely feel it will reflect of the ground quite a bit more down there. I do have the ability to slightly aim the bar up wards which I'm contemplating.
hey mate hows this holding up? the still mount holding good? does it rattle?
The mount is still holding strong and no rattling or anything. I was actually going to use 3 screws to hold the bar up, but 2 has been enough
@@timeverett449 whats behind the bumper mate? metal bar? is it just mounted on the plastic bumper?
@@Rbdlr Yeh my bumper is plastic and when i initially went to screw it to just the bumper it was moving due to the weight of the nudge bar and light bar. There is a metal frame behind my plastic bumper that ive screwed through which made it far more stable, the screws were substantially long though as they had to go through the nudge bar bracket, bumper, foam behind the bumper and the metal frame behind it all
Is it possi le tomou t the light below the number platr with that stedi bracket?
@@timeverett449 those it still move even a little? cause i did thesame as you and only have and 18inch which has very little movement now
but still i want zero movement, maybe im trying get the impossible.
