- We were just going to check out the venue where we are to be married, but things didn't go as planned! We visit JHAYMAR'S tree house first then try some exotic fruit from the tree house tree, mangosteen and longan fruit. Next, we go to the Vietnamese restaurant Pho Hoa in the Greenbelt mall for some authentic Vietnamese food. We end the second night not knowing when or if we can get married?
@LVSMILES and I will keep you updated on our journey to get married. In the meantime, watch our vlog to see what happens next!

You can still do the wedding it just wouldnt be legal till you did that part correctly. Lots of people get married before or after the actual wedding even in the US for many reasons. It just isnt really talked about cause it takes away from the day is all.
I guess I never knew that was Common.
Sorry to hear about the wedding - LV dont worry it will happen - good to see a full video
Thanks Tommy J, we are patiently waiting. This vlog took over two days to upload even with a booster 30' in the air! I just couldn't keep waiting for it to get better. Lol We'll have to get a satalite but I haven't found anyone to do it yet. More to come!
Just found your channel! Appreciate the videos! Good job filming your adventure! Love it
Awesome! Thank you!
Hope it all works out. Were you able to reschedule? Id say a mangosteen is kinda like a sour peach, but not really. I noticed fruit in Manila wasn't cheap.
We are patiently waiting. It'll happen eventually. I slipped up and didn't check because someone we were paying was supposed to get the license for us. Unfortunately, I assumed that they would inform me of anything like that. Mangosteen is my favorite fruit in SE Asia to date anyway. Take care amigo! Got a little beach house of you get back over here.
You tie the knot yet Brian ?
I Think so. We had some paper work issues. They tell us it's all good now but unfortunately they said some things that weren't true before. It takes up to 3 months for everything to come back. That's when we will know for sure. 😁
Hope everything works out well after all cheers 🍻
It will work out in time. Cheers amigo
Great video bro! About the wedding issue. Maybe it would be easier to marry in the U.S.A. and after that just put the paperwork in Vietnam that it will be official? Or marry in Mexico and translate the wedding document to English and Vietnamese.
If we marry in the USA she won't be allowed to leave for 2 years while waiting for residency. I can't stay in the USA that long straight! The other countries may work
The places are amazing there.
I dont understand this wedding rules, I never heard something like that.
Anyway, wishing you the best.
Yeah, we paid someone to do it for us and even though it is way past the 15 days it still isn't done. A filapino's favorite words are "maybe later". Lol Thanks for watching amigo!

Thank you so much! It will work out eventually.
Watching this video makes me miss Vietnam. The best vacation I've ever had. Thank you and I love you!
Still hoping we will go this year love
So did the wedding go through? Miss watching ur video's ....😊
it is difficult but not impossible , GOD bless both of you
Thank you, getting anything done here is tough.
Hello, Brian
You just dissapear
Hope you and your wife are fine.
Hi WM, we're still around. We just haven't been doing anything exciting. We're waiting on LV's visa here in DaNang trying to live cheaply due to last years events. I hope to have some new full-length content next month. Thanks for checking in!
I love your channel ❤ wishing you the very best 💕 with your life together and marriage
Thank you so much!! That means a lot to us.
LOL, its all going to work out. If she stayed this long she can wait another 2 months. Glad to see you are doing well.
Thank you. I think we're all legal now
Congratulations. How did y'all meet?
We met because of our CZcams channels. In Jan 2020 I was planning a trip here and I would always post in an Expat Facebook group to get info like where to go, where not to go ect. I was also looking for someone to collaborate with on some CZcams videos. We started talking. My trip was planned for June 2020. The the the virus broke out and the travel restrictions started. We talked everyday for over two years before I was finally allowed to make the trip.
Miss your long videos.
I like to build a off grid bungalow there .
Sorry, it wasn't planned this way. I get back to long form content as soon as possible.
@@BeyondBrian I understand you been busy and lack of solid internet
Always more surprises in the Philippines.
New 15 day rule for gringos must be 😮.
Its tough for Americans to be fully content there.
Yes, that's how it feels. You will certainly learn patience here. 😁
@@BeyondBrianthings will happen in God's timing.
Be good if you open a western style Restaurant in Samar.
I could sure go for a western restaurant here!!!
Congratulations on your wedding!! New to your channel and love the content. Could you possibly post a video on how you became an ex-pat and what your daily life is like? What do you miss the most about home? What was your biggest fear in becoming an ex-pat? A future ex-pat is interested in your journey.
Absolutely!! That's what this channel is about. The shorts have done very well for my channel but I used to post mostly long form content. I had to go to shorts here because the internet is so bad I just couldn't post a long video. Enter Starlink... More regular vlogs coming soon.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, OK Congratulations are in order I think.
Thank you sir! I tried to send you a WhatsApp messages awhile back, never got a response. Hope you are doing well!
@@BeyondBrian I hope you are to. I miss walking with the orange shirt.
Are guys going to travel back to the US? How does that work if you get married in the Philippines?
We will apply for a spouse visa. It's unlikely that she will get to return with me this December but maybe December 24. Thanks for watching!
Cool. It will really open her eyes seeing the US. Blessings to you guys
marriage application + certificate of no marriage + passport + divorce cert if any + birth certificate + id photo + cash
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching sir
Marriage in the Philippines is literally a Life -sentence. There's NO divorce. Better think things through. Romance fades.
Yes, romance fades but a good partnership can grow from that base. My last mairrage lasted 22 years. If this one last that long I'll be too old to care or might not even know. Lol

It depends on the couple. If they think of marriage as a LIFETIME COMMITMENT, divorce would not even be an option.
man youre in the philippines nobody would care even if you get married a lil bit earlier than the required date. you shouldve continued the wedding then just paid the guy to set the date legally on papers. next time youre in this kind of situation just ask them this "maybe we can talk about it?" these are the magic words you should learn, a little grease goes a long way man. btw you should post urgent matters like this asap. maybe someone watching your vids can help you smooth things out. youll never know. anyway have a good one!
Thanks my friend. I'm learning the ways. We did get married over two months ago and still can't get even the local certificate even after offering to pay for "expedited". Tuesday we will do an online service through Utah. It's legal in all 50 states and done in less than a week for a few hundred dollars.
Marriage is overrated also She might just decide to divorce you after?? Idk protect yourself hope it all works for y'all!! You guys look good together!
There is no divorce in the philippines.
Yes, no divorce here so it's not in their mind when you get married. There is no easy way out for a cash grab. Yes, we are very happy and I say that with full confidence that she feels the same.
👍👍👍
