But but but but................ That means, the people who totally fail, either because they are too dumb, can't pass exams, are illiterate because they dropped-out of schools at age 12 or even 10 years of age, will not qualify to be a Pilot Officer, Commanders even Generals, because they are simply too stupid, *_will be overlooked and even worse, will be told they are too stupid to hold down a job after trying for 12 tears (or more) to pass the entrance exam?_* That's terrible!
It means too, that a top-gun Pilot would get a job ahead of someone with no education and the ability to only wield a sweeping brush! That sounds terribly unfair to me, giving jobs to people because they are the tops in their field, pass-out in the top-5 of their class, and are incredibly well-qualified for the position they would like!
Why should someone, because of his massively educated status and ability to lead, get a job simply because they are the (Obvious) best? That won't do at all in our 'woke' military! *_Worst first, best last,_* THAT should be the measure! (Well that, and the colour of their skin!)

I am often asked by a parent or individual should they join the military. Being a retired officer, I like to think I have a slight insight.
It is more and more difficult to say "sure, join up, it will do you good", because I no longer think it will do anyone good. After I retired I worked for a large military contractor. I trained thousands of military at all ranks. There are some outstanding soldiers out there I would go shoulder to shoulder with in a foxhole. And, there is some real crap. More crap than when I was in. I have no clue why they joined. Could have been because that was how they avoided prosecution by the judge.
When things get tough for recruitment the answer is always the same.....drop the requirements. When retention is difficult the answer is always the same.....drop the requirements.
One group has to do only 1 pushup. Another group has to do 30 pushups.
I feel for recruiters today. It must be the most unsatisfactory job in existence. I knew one who said to me he was getting out and joining his dad in cleaning septic tanks because there was less sh*t in that job.
There will always be a core of the youth who believe in their country, in freedom and in preserving the "American way of life", but what worries me is, will they be willing to fire upon the US citizen that has had enough of the most corrupt government in the world? I hope not.

If we follow this mind-numbingly illogical approach of seeking first to have equal outcomes based on race, we will irrefutably guarantee that our military is not as potent as it could be. Why? Because equal outcomes are all but impossible to achieve if meritocracy is a factor, and merits should be the key factor. Let's use sports as an example. Should we ensure our track team equally represents the nation's racial makeup? How about the NBA, NFL, MLB? No, we shouldn't. We should give everyone an opportunity to try out. And then we should promote the people who stand out, who work hard, who do the best. Lethality should be the military's objective, not some lunacy like this.

But still. Such conversations are spoken so seriously to the point of reaching this level of authority, but I'm more surprised no one has burst out laughing at the massive stupidity these topics entail yet.
This is harsh, because I know there are countless Americans who are extremely smart, but things like these are what keep the "dumb American" reputation going strong. This is one of the most stupid topics I've ever heard, because it's impossible to, for example, shove 13% (black Americans) of an entire population into *everything.* White Americans are 75.5% of the population, so *of course* there are more white Americans everywhere. And black Americans aren't dumb. They don't need pity nor be considered too stupid to get a certain job just like everyone else does.

However when looking at the typical requirements for admission a 700 on the test is required..

We have Africans here, my own father included, who came to my country when he was 19. The fact of the matter is that blacks in America didn't use to be how they are now, and we all know why. It's not the system, it's the people. We're all human, and something is terribly wrong with 13% of the population is responsible for 50% of the crimes in an *entire* country.
Even college programs have been created to put them at the top of the list. Participation awards create a weaker people, a weaker mind, and a weaker country. Black Americans don't notice that this is going to keep them at the bottom of the list, because it was their skin color that got them places, not who they are as humans. This is real racism, and black Americans keep drowning themselves in it.

CQ has become an embarrassment; his desire to be the best f16 pilot was in doubt many times when I flew with him as he was often in the kill locker waiting to regenerate...hours building while not actually flying the viper. He has been in charge and look how bad our pilot training bases have become under his watch as AETC can't come close to graduating the annual requirement of 1500 pilots annually. What is he being graded on?? We are getting spanked in so many metrics by the chinese and this emphasis on DEI should be grounds for not being nominated. The senate needs to man up and not sanction this guy to lead the air force
