Mallika Banerjee but he always does his own stunts. It's not exclusive to this one movie, so removing a sin for it would be irrelevant and every cruise movie would have to take a sin off. With that logic as well you would also need to remove a sin for every actor in every movie where they perform stunts themselves. It's pretty stupid.

As someone who has been to a prison before, I can tell you that is how prisons work. Not all of them have the exact same amount of people. Some rooms can be smaller than others. That's architecture.
LawffleCopter On the topic of the prison cells: The big one where he says there are four guys in it, there are more than four in there. If you look at the left side you can see another bunk with a head sticking out behind the dude in the foreground. So there are at least five guys, most likely at least six, in that cell.

M:I was a bit convoluted. M:I3 is very straight forward and offers the best villain of the franchise.

4:31 Actually modern bullets do disintegrate/slow down when they hit water. They tested it on Mythbusters. They're moving so fast that hitting water is like hitting concrete, they shatter and transfer all of their energy/lose speed.
The eye contact part isn't as unbelievable as you would think, I've seen a drill sergeant spot a contact in a recruits eye with a glance(obviously I mean the clear contact). So I think a top Assassin would have great attention to detail for something like that in a tense situation.
A great film and an even greater Mission Impossible film. I hope I'm not alone in thinking that if it wasn't for his Scientology leanings, Tom Cruise would receive more praise.
I disagree... if Cruise weren't so arrogant as a person, like he used to be before he started preaching Scientology, I think he'd be much more likeable.

For some reason, I never realized that Ethan's contact was one of Max's henchmen from the first movie. I like that there's at least some continuity between the M:I movies since Bad Robot became involved.

This movie was directed by Brad Bird, the same director of The Incredibles. Anybody else see the parallel in the scene where Mr. Incredible is talking to the old lady and the arms dealer is talking to Ethan? Like "I can't tell you to do exactly what I would be telling you to do if I was helping you which I am pretending not to do"

Well, you can theoretically send an abort signal to the warhead to disarm it. I have no idea whether the missiles in question use such a system though.
There usually is an abort system on large missiles, but the range is probably not long enough to disarm it when it's that close to the target

Okay, I get that Paula Patton changing her clothes (sin counter 10:03), and using a gestural windscreen during a high speed chase, cancel the removing/ adding of sins, but the fact that a Cruise does not even notice, or have an accident.. cause Paula Patton is changing her clothes next to him during a high speed chase, definitely deserves a couple of sins. Can't believe you mention Ethan jumping out of the car at 50mph without any injury but not that the main bad guy (a middle aged man with no physical training) suffers a head on collision between two speeding cards (that should have turned both cars into metal balls) that sends his card flying dozens of yards (which should have broken his everything several times) and he is up and out of there faster than Ethan can get to the car.

Filming actually did take place in Mumbai and Bangalore though.
Yeah they filmed a lot there. But noone really cares haha. Half of American tv is filmed in Canada, and even ones set in specific towns aren't in that town, like that crappy show psyche was set in my hometown santa Barbara and it's like Florida.
So at the end of the day, its a movie.. see they use these things called "sets", special effects and fake locations.

Couple missed sins. When Ethan is kicking down the window, the position of his anchor hand changes relative to the window crack when the scene switches from inside to outside views. Also, once a nuke was launched from the submarine, wouldn't the US Military have detected it and launched counter attack nukes, or at the very least some kind of fancy missile interception tech?
You should make a reference list for the media listed after the sins counting. For example, 13:20 is a Tom Cruise rant from Tropic Thunder (2008). This stuff is really funny, but not everybody knows what you're referencing.

This movie also assumes that the US Military has no means of detecting or tracking incoming Nuclear Missiles. Also, if it were possible to disable ICBMs just seconds before detonation, then preventing a nuclear holocaust would only require a few nerds with laptops.
