    I'm thinking of making a cowl with this stitch. So about 60 chains using a 4 weight wool/acrylic blend variegated yarn. Then as wide as I want it. Thank you for this lovely tutorial 💜💙

    Such a beautiful lacy pattern!
    Quick question, do the new ESC go into the regular part of the stitch or are you going more into the center like you would with the mesh stitch? It looks like the latter, but I want to be sure. 😜

    Nice tutorial. Best to use solid color yarns to teach stitches, not multicolored variegated.

    I love the pattern , but I’m confused when you reach to the second row , I don’t know where you put the needle, if it’s between the two extended stitches.

      It would have been better for the audience if she had used a solid color yarn that was easier to see and saved her variegated yarn for off screen crafting

    Hi doll… I have 3 questions to ask…
    What size Crochet hook are you using?!?
    How many skeins did you use!?!
    I have one skein of I love this yarn from
    Hobby lobby… my favorite yarn… so soft! You think it be enough to make this scarf?!?
    Last question… how long would I have to make my scarf to have it wrap twice around the neck, but it be smaller/shorter and not 140 rows?!?
    I’m guessing yours you can wrap 3 or 4 times…
    Thank you
    Holly…

      Hello,
      Additional information can be found here: www.throughtheloopyc.com/everlasting-infinity-scarf-free-pattern/
      I used 6mm hook
      I used 184 yards, so 1 skein of I love This Yarn should be enough, just check the yardage.
      For length, my rows made it loop loosely twice, you can do as many rows as you like until your desired length.
      Hope that helps!

    could you please show where you are inserting hook in the second rows is a little confusing the way you are doing it Thanks

    • @ThroughTheLoopYarnCraft
      @ThroughTheLoopYarnCraft  Před rokem

      Hi! You insert your hook into the top of the V of the sc like you would for a regular single crochet

    • @clairefields5775
      @clairefields5775 Před rokem +3

      Everything after the first row is very confusing. I can’t seem to tell which stitch is the stitch you insert into vs the chain stitch. I can do the extended SC no problem, but figuring out which stitch to stitch it into is where I’m losing it.

    Like others I too have no problem with the stitch itself...but am totally lost on it's placement in the second row. I followed the links but as they are not done in the same fashion as this video ie chain one skip one the appearance is totally different.

    So I am confused. The yarn you are using is quite dark, and you don't really show exactly where you are inserting your hook. Watching you do the video, it looks like you're crocheting each extended single crochet on top of one another, but when I look at the fabric it looks like they are in between each other. For something so simple this looks quite beautiful, but I would love to know where you are actually crocheting each stitch. 🤷‍♀️

    • @ThroughTheLoopYarnCraft
      @ThroughTheLoopYarnCraft  Před 2 lety +3

      That is is the tricky part of this stitch, I am going into the top of the stitch but it doesn't really look like it once it's finished due to the anatomy of the stitch. Here are links to the photo tutorial and video tutorial for the stitch itself that may help as well.

      The way she crochet is strange, in normally when you make the chains you don’t grab the yarn and throw with the left hand, in crochet the left hand is only to keep the yarn and you crochet and move only the right hand.
