Question . Looking at what the calculator you have shows 37000 loan for model y . We plan to get the model y awd , and added the tow hitch. It shows total loan amount is 46,252 , assuming it’s because of the 3,088.13 sales tax. Does that number look right to you?
as someone who works at tesla, if this is a good deal to you and it makes sense, buy now, Model Y has so much going for it right now
Since you work for Tesla. How long is it going to take them to approve of the finances. Been 48 hrs
@@tonile5120lmao. I feel this.
@@emmanuelu took them 5 days for me
@@tonile5120 they approved me after two days for 3.99 and then I pressed them about the fact I ordered it for their 0.99 promotion. Took another 2 days for them to drop it but they took it to 1.99. Pressed them again about and and now I’m still waiting. This whole process has been surprisingly disappointing.
From someone who’s been waiting to buy used… thank you for this. Subscribed.
I appreciate many of your videos. Very well done and informative. 👍
We purchased too brand new Teslas. The first one in 2019 for 63k is now worth 24K trade-in. The latest YP will likely depreciate just as fast. I think the true winners are people who buy pre-owned or leased return Teslas. The depreciation from new to used has already happened and some have very low miles. I think those are a better value In my opinion.
Used car ?? Eeewww
You can’t buy lease returned 3 or ya, right?
The problem is the new hw4.0 only on new cars
Booty dust incubation system is all I would be thinking about. But If you a normal human then yes makes complete sense.

We were in the same boat. We were waiting for the MY 2025 refresh but after this promotion came out, we bought one last Monday. My wife loves it to death and I love it because you can’t really beat 1% with the tax credits both federal and state.
Me too!
What are the tax credits from the state? I only know the $7,500 one, but is there additional?
@@BracoJaxdepends which state you are in
Well explained. Very professional.
Just got my new Model Y! I was thinking for a while but the .99% APR finally sold me. Did a trade in and put the rest of the money that would've been for the car in some US treasuries and SPY, figure long term it'll pay for itself. Been driving it and its the best car I've ever had, and the FSD is incredible!
No tesla stock?
Same. I went in same day .99 percent Apr sold me.
Same here. Took delivery a few days ago
Same just placed my order in, delivery date is in 2 days, should i be concerned on how long the car stood on the lot since they have it available so soon?
Same. Just got mine simply because of the 0.99 apr. you just can’t beat that
The refresh suspension and added noise reduction are major benefits from waiting for the Juniper. As well as resale value down the road.
What's with the dangling ethernet cable?
Finally a good video on model Y. You gained a subscriber today !
loved Dune part 2!!
I’m waiting for a refresh Model Y Performance
Thanks for the solid updates. Was just wondering how you know the batteries of the short range rwd, longe range rwd, and all wheel drive are the same (do you have a link somewhere that shows this)? I believe you, but it’d be nice to have concrete evidence
If you seek out a recent video by Branden Flash, you can see where he proved it was the same battery. 2-3 weeks ago
@@ralstm1appreciate it
I have a Uniden R8 from my previous car, and I plan to hard wire it on model Y, do you have a video for the wiring?
check channel
Hi, I knew and I am thinking purchasing a Tesla. I was wondering if you could do a video on child Lock I know you probably don’t have any, but I was wondering if you could lock out the screen in the back because I wouldn’t want my kids playing around with the heat temperature control back seats
I want the midnight cherry color and I’m in lol
I'm with you on waiting for the refresh (though it'll be my first Tesla)
even if you dont get the same deal like 0.99 apr and 7500 tax credit?
@@YaBoyJon I'm hoping to still be able to get the tax credit (admittedly a risk). I'm not planning on financing, so that's not a concern. Ultimately, I feel I would regret it if I rushed into it and miss out on the new features with the refresh. I know the current model is solid, but I'm not in a rush and happy to wait.
Going to order mine next week. One thing I won’t do is get white interior.
For 72 month tenure, now there is no more .99%, it's 1.99% !
I’m in the market for a new car, this .99% APR plus the car itself is a very tempting offer, just wondering if it’s ideal to finance or lease the model Y, it’ll be my first electric car.
5 years ago I ordered a MY. I delayed buying one because of the early poor construction and then cancelled it when I realized that it would be cheaper and less stressful to drive a RAV4.
do you still drive the RAV4?
Will the upgraded Model Y have a better suspension system so the ride is better?
I’m wondering about this also???
Didn’t qualify for .99% but did for 1.99%. I still plan on getting the model y at that rate.
What was your credit score?
@@okletsdoitt It's not about credit score. For 72 month tenure, now there is no more .99%, it's 1.99% !
I have another 10 months on my CX-5 Lease, does anyone know how this would work to turn in my lease early to buy this Y at this 0.99 rate? Do I turn it in to Tesla? Or Turn it back in early to Mazda, then go buy the Tesla? Or should I just wait until the lease is up next year and turn it in and then see what my options are with a Tesla?
I am in a similar situation 9 months left on a Corolla.
Model 3 Performance is the way to go right now. Jeremiah, did you see the white seats are now free now, but need to go with the stealth grey to qualify for the tax credit. That means if we have an order in with no vin # we get that $1,000 back. I thought you ordered the M3P
Yes I have a grey/white M3P on order and no you won’t get the money back because the base price also went up.
@@JremiahJones Have the same. Interesting 🤔 since the white was $1,000 at the time I ordered. Tesla rep told me, any price adjustments on the white interior would get applied. Guess it makes sense because people would cancel their order and just reorder if the price tag didn’t increase. In your opinion, whats the best place to list M3P for sale? I have a mint M3P with tons of mods.
No thank you I’ll get the rear wheel drive over the performance and having to replace all four tires at once .
For people that don’t meet the .99 APR, I’ve read about some people reaching out Tesla and telling them you REALLY want to buy the vehicle, but you need a better interest rate. Tesla actually worked with them and brought it down to help sell the vehicle
I’m not about the acceleration stuff but 6.6 for the rear wheel is 2 seconds slower than the all wheel. That’s massive difference
Acceleration only will hurt your Tesla insurance, and it will get old after a while. Don’t let that stop you. And I can see some kind of future speed boost as Elon himself wasn’t happy with the 6.6
There's plenty of power to be had with the rwd. most people can't handle the rwd car spinning out of control so they have to throttle it somehow.
Debating on lease vs. buy. As Model Y due to refresh in few years What is your take ?
In the same boat here. My wife needs a new car in the next month. Might just do a 24 month lease and then look at buying the redesigned one once it’s on its second year of production.
If Tesla offered that range upgrade to all of the cars, they would make a killing!!!
once you add all the other fees and all it saves alot more than 7k, saved just over 10k with 0.99% your numbers are way off
Explain
Yeah, even if you knew the end of 3rd quarter or 4th quarter this offer would come back, then waiting doesn't make much sense because you are not going to beat 0.99%. Usually one waits for a better deal but in this case, you can't go lower and there is no guarantee this will come back.
Just ordered one last night. waiting on the shipping date. but there are some at available dealerships but different color than what i want. So if they have one available at a dealership, you can save the destination fee?
No, I am referring to the vehicle you wanting is at a different delivery center and you want it shipped to your delivery center. Tesla will do it but for a fee on top of the destination fee.
You will always pay the $1390 "Destination Fee" even if the car you're buying is already at the Tesla center you're picking it up from.
Did you get a date yet? Also, when does the financing occur? Right before you get it?
I just got my MYP 2024 with the .99 🔥 i would not have bought otherwise
If you don’t mind sharing, what was your credit score to qualify for the .99% interest?
how much are you paying monthly??
Hoping for .99 plus good discount.. maybe end of year?
Don’t think that’s happening
@@Nate-vf2js prob not. I’ll just stick with my model 3 then
There is a 10K tax credit coming out in August... which is an incentive to wait. Thoughts on that and a push during that time?
Where did you hear this?
@@benjaminhollar7462 apologies its a WA credit. www.commerce.wa.gov/growing-the-economy/energy/electric-vehicles/ev-instant-rebate-program/
Pulled the trigger on a standard range Y at .99% for the daily commute. It’s now cheaper than a CRV or RAV4. Now is definitely the time.
Is your credit perfect, by any chance? Trying to see how possible it is to get the .99%
@@joshuawhite3661 yes indeed, I’ve got a near perfect score. I hope that helps a bit.
We're not sure too if the new MY would qualify for the $7500 incentive. So if you're looking to buy a MY now is such a great deal.
It is 🤙
If you don’t qualify for .99% interest promotion, and tax credit, what’s the best option, an used car?
Even with .99 apr it is still a 40k to 50k car depending on the trim. Thats 600 to 730 a month. Yes it is nice to ride and yes almost all of it is principal but that is 600 to 730 not in your pocket every month. Something about that didnt stick with me.
but arent most new cars around this price?
@@YaBoyJon I don't know, maybe. However, i chose to buy something used like a 2018 or 2019 for 10kish rather than pay 730 for 5 to 7 years. It just seems too much even if that is the norm.
I think it’s interesting how the ‘language’ of buying and using an EV vs an ICE vehicle has changed.. It’ll be quite a learning curve for older owners..
if you wait until the new Model Y refresh or leak, then you will have the best in terms of optionality
FOMO on price cuts are real. Colorado has some insane tax credits and I’m still diamond handing. Few days left to make the call 😅
Tesla trying to get rid off the old Y.. the new Y is coming
Very Informative Good explanation but be mindful folks .99 % APR is not an in house financing promo. Just to make it clear it’s a pre approve loan application.
Waiting for model X deals
Well it all depends on if Elon and Tesla will announce and make the Model 2 less expensive vehicles. Myself I didn't wait. August 2023 I bought the Model Y LR vehicle. I did not want the 2024 Model Y with no stalks and extra cosmetic features. Also at that time the Model 2 was a pipedream not knowing if it would even be produced.
If you sit too long on deciding when to buy a Tesla, you will probably never pull the trigger and buy one. Just my thoughts. I enjoy my recent purchase of the Model Y.
But Tesla no longer makes those sonic thingies for model 3 for 2024 and onwards. Don't they? They switched to cameras.
USS and no
@@deej628 I can say that for eu, they sell no versions of 3 with sensors, at least on the website.
Super safe way to make money on your .99% would be to take the cash and buy a 4 month CD at your bank for 5% you will pocket the 4% in a six year period not too shabby.
Don't fall for shiny things, unless you really need one.
Didn’t know you was in KY, that’s awesome. I live in SE KY, Harlan County.
I wonder what deals June brings .. is it worth taking a shot at waiting till June?!
No
@@Nate-vf2js how can you be so sure??
No one knows. People are guessing that they’ll be better incentives for June since it’s the end of the second quarter so they might want to do a final push to boost their sales numbers. They might drop the price on the car but raise the rates back up. Maybe they drop the APR to 0% but keep the price. Hard to say.
@@iTsAznThunder well if you look at what they have done in other countries this is the first one with the .99 they done this for other countries before us one time and hasn’t come back hopefully this spills over to the big three with there evs
Waiting to see weathwr Tesla brings low interest financing to Nova Scotia Canada. Present rate is 6.24 %. If we could get sub 2 or 3 % we'd have a Y in the drive.
Wait
Commments here are ridiculous. I kept my gas car for 14 years. I paid $27k and sold it 14 years later for $2k, why would Tesla be any different?
I purchased a Tesla Model Y a few days ago.
The interest 0.99 or 2.99 is insanely low and the $7,500 offf the MSRP is a killer deal.
I also owned a BMW 7-Series and the Tesla Model Y is easily by far the besr csr ive ever owned.
I plan to get the extended warranty and keep the car as long as possible.
For 72 month tenure, now there is no more .99%, it's 1.99% ! Please pin this comment !
I just bought a New 2024 MY LR with the 0.99% Rate, my Trade and Cash Down. I should have it Paid in Full in about 6 months or less after delivery. A Paid in Full Car is 100% the way to go. I don't want car payments dragging me down. I wanted to wait for the MY Juniper, but I thought about how long the wait might be with everyone wanting to order a New 2025 MY Juniper when they do drop. It could be a long wait, like maybe up to a year for delivery after they drop and the mad rush to buy one begins. Also, no one can give us a definitive answer on when they will even be available?! Is it late 2024, early 2025, no one knows. I'm sure they will have everything the M3H has, but no one really knows for sure if that will be the case. You just can't assume anything when it comes to Elon Musk, he is truly an enigma. My plan, since it seems Tesla EVs seem to hold a good value. Is to buy now, own for 2yrs to 3yrs, keep saving up a nice pile of down payment cash, then trade in the 2024 MY LR for the new MY Juniper, or maybe by then move up into the Model X. That's the plan, I hope it goes well for me. Side Note: I do wish the 2024 MY LR had ventilated seats, but I can live without for a couple of years.
No reason to pay in full when interest rate is 0.99% and 1years cd’s are sitting at over 3%
@@teddy0139I would rather not have car payment, for the sinple reason that The Borrower is Slave to The Lender. If I don't have a car payment, especially on a depreciating asset then I get to keep more money in my pocket that I can invest or save up for something else that I would like to buy.
‘The Rich Rules Over the Poor, and the Borrower Is Slave to the Lender.’ - Proverbs 22:7 emphasizes the importance of staying out of debt. In King Solomon’s time, debtors actually could become like slaves to their wealthy lenders. That doesn’t happen today, but the metaphorical slavery of debt is alive and well.
When you go into debt, you’re essentially sacrificing future cash flow to have more capital now. This can lead to years of monthly payments that eat away at your budget and restrict your financial freedom.
Your wrong on your thinking just because of a 0.99% rate. My Balance will be $8000.00 and my car payment will be $115.00 per month which equals $1,380.00 a year. Three percent intrest on the $8000.00 to pay the car off equals $240.00 if I left that money in the bank at 3% interest rate or a 3% CD etc. If I don't have a car payment and save that $115.00 each month I will make out 5.75X better in the long run by not having a car payment and saving that $115.00 each month. Why would I want to line someone elses pockets when I can continue to line mine?
Your logic is skewed… my balance will be $8000.00 and my payment will be $115.00 per month. If I let $8000.00 sit at 3% interest rate I will earn $240.00 after one year. If I pay my car off then take that $115.00 per month car payment I would of been paying and saved it; I would have $1,380.00 after one year. Thats 5.75x more money saved vs that paltry 3% interest rate if I would of just let the $8000.00 sit there for a year. It’s much better to have no car payment that takes money away from your ability to save and build wealth!
irl? did it really save you time to say that over "in real life"?

No longer do you need to buy a Tesla to use the SC network.
I have a 2023 Nissan Ariya FWD that gets me consistently 310-330 miles of range. Plus, Ariya has way nicer features that are NOT offered on the MY.
