Cheek Cells Under The Microscope

  • Human cheek cells are made of simple squamous epithelial cells, which are flat cells with a round visible nucleus that cover the inside lining of the cheek.
Cheek cells are easy to obtain and easy to see under a microscope. As such it is a favorite in biology classrooms to show what a typical animal cell looks like.
DNA and paternity tests can be done by obtaining these cells and looking at their DNA.
The magnification for each shot is shown in the bottom right hand corner.

I think it is so difficult to really differentiate what is being seen. People could try to create a software “eye” that analyses the image smallest pixel and added artificial coloring to differentiate what is needed and to highlight the important elements. Besides that there is the issue with frames per second. Probably body processes doesn´t respect human eyes framing. A lot may be going on that cannot be observed by human eyes.

@@TheDeathCap Yes. That's great. But the subject is still a bit more complex. I´m not a researcher. But it seems that microscopes uses light to see the objects. But there is the logical possibility that in the Microscopic World there may be creatures that behave like glass. Light may flows through them, and they get not revealed by it. As we cannot also touch it to verify that it is in there. More sophisticated methods of observation may also be needed to generate an accurate image of this World.
