Seems like a almost perfect fit but to put a bearing in there is very smart, for Makita you would think they would with the load that's put on that shaft not a bush....
Very beautiful work, but I have an interrogation : the first bearing you use is'nt designed to support axial efforts from mandrel ? It will not work a long time this way :(
I personally would have reused the old balls+washer which are designed to.

I am building my own moped. I am struggling with rear hub. I am considering making my own. I ve seen your solution for double front breakes and i would like to make something simmilar for right side rear brake ,for the left side sprocket to the engine. I am not very experienced with making my own hubs. I would like to use your solution or ask a few questions how to design one. I am hoping for your help i cannot move forward. How can i comunicate to you i cannot find any E-mail
