- Four days in, and the latest batch of plucky Brits to brave the island are already struggling. There's 100,000 pounds to be found, hidden in the jungle, but the group are busy battling sleep deprivation thanks to an insect infestation in camp.

Ep1, flipped me out, that lord, that guy bragging how rich he is how he is prince Philips cousin, how he doesn't need money, will give it to who needs it,then him and that military guy finds a box, and he was the first to say let's hide it,keep it to ourselves, the dude is rich enough to literally fund this show and it not affect his bank account,but he basically cums at the sight of 4,000, tells me all he actually cares about is money like he will walk over your body for 10 dollars

how are they assholes? this season isnt just about survival, theres also a cash prize to find. you wanna find cash for the whole group who probably isnt doing anything? and share the little money they likely wont manage to find? look at the two chicks that took they money. they found it, they keep it. simple. integrity nothing. if it was just survival fine. stick together. theres something to win and theres gotta be a winner or some incentive. if there wasnt, there wouldnt be a penalty for leaving
It’s a game show - it’s not like the other group would die if they split off. They’d just be taken off the island. It’s a game of 100.000£.
I like the money added in because its actually motivating the participants to venture thriughout the island. Result after result! Well done.

@@MrTweetyhack have you seen previous episodes? How often are they finding food everyday? Did other groups collectively look for resources? No. Atleast this group every single person is scavenging, ffs even the 75 year old went looking. In previous episodes 75% of a group would lay at base complaining. Not this one. So genius, what's different in this one to others? The MONEY.

Agreed, adds motivation to get out and explore instead of sitting at camp wasting away. It's like that Alone show, I started calling it the watch people slowly die show.

Gotta admit, didn't think the cash idea was initially good, I love all things survival, and after season 2 it looked worse and worse. But the money has given a "propper" reason to survive and seeing the group already doing better and making WAY better decisions than the last 4 seasons combined is super refreshing! I'm only 5min in on S6E2, but love it so far survival > drama(though unavoidable)

Tbh what had Marco and Ivar provided the group by the time they had decided to branch off? It was Manno who found the first water source by the camp and Jack who had hunted the food. The first significant thing Marco and Ivar had done was find £35k then hide it from the others, Marco then found another source of water and they decided to hide that too. I think Jack has a lot more integrity than those two put together, for even considering rejoining the others. Whereas Marco and Ivar only decided to join him back because they would be found to be the bad guys when only Jack returned.

Really hard to watch this when most the show is about them being dehydrated and running out of a water source, meanwhile they sit in the sun all day complaining .
He needs to do another one of these series. It could get really interesting with the right people.

They can't get their fill. Have everything in life... well, hopefully they'll learn one day that you can't eat money. This show must be scripted because otherwise it makes no sense to me... I don't have any money, but I would have shared the first find, that would be a morale boost for everyone.. But my priority would also be water, fire and food.
Exactly why I have no problem with Marco and the others who found the money keeping it for themselves. They're the ones venturing out doing shit, finding food, water, etc. The others are basically just sitting on the beach all day letting others do everything for them.

You can see Ivars true colors more and more, i love the first episode when they said that they could'nt believe how nice he was for having his life style. But it's all just showing now

Marco is playing it smart though. The more people that have to leave, the more money for him. He can build a life with it after the island survival is over. The others may not have the same resolve. That being said, bravo to Jacks integrity.

i feel like this "experiment" is probably the best framework (other than Alone maybe) for these jungle reality shows. i think it could be improved upon only by having all players be equipped with cameras at all times, and maybe do away with 3rd-person cams altogether. the money in the jungle though... plus survival... i'm PUMPED about watching this unfold. lots of chaos-inducing elements going on here.

this is good that u put money on island cause when u watch all the episodes in this series alot of the member are freking lazy that just waiting for foods and not doing there job so now if they want money they need to explore and who do that ? the working hard members so its understandable if they dont share that money its their prize for working job for the crew the members lucky already they comming back home with foods and water

the money for themselves, the real integrity issue is them not being willing to help sustain the others.
If they aren't willing to help the others with day to day gathering and hunting, why should the others

It's very simple. They are Bear's camera team. Meaning they are payed observers and therefore not eligible to win any of the money prizes. They probably aren't allowed to talk about what they see either.

I think, hiding the second box of money was stupid, because everyone saw where it landed and don’t know that someone took it. They could’ve taken some money out of the box and returned with some cash, giving them some credibility, if that’s the way you want to play. Although I wouldn’t be like that, I hope.
Yeah i thought that too. Either take out some cash to add to their other one and keep some in the box for the group and bring back the box cord and parachute to use as they would be useful. Or they could have just left it entirely as now the group will know that someone has found it and it could only be a few people who are venturing out.
