Still Corners is the musical project of Tessa Murray and Greg Hughes. The group formed shortly after Murray met Hughes by chance at a London train stop in 2009. Since then, the band has delivered a steady stream of music that is at once reflective, searching and romantic.
Sub Pop signed the band after their first few singles and went on to release their debut album Creatures of an Hour in 2011 and Strange Pleasures in 2013.
Since 2016, Still Corners have released music on their own label Wrecking Light Records. Dead Blue (2016), Slow Air (2018) and The Last Exit (2021) have confirmed the band’s position as one of the leading dream pop bands of the last decade.
Taken from Strange Pleasures, The Trip became a streaming phenomenon with one CZcams video amassing over 60 million views and acting as a virtual community for like-minded fans around the world. Lead singles from Slow Air, The Message and Black Lagoon followed suit.
In January 2021, Still Corners released the critically acclaimed The Last Exit. Following the release, in September 2021 Still Corners announced a new single Heavy Days, along with tours planned for Europe and the United States in Spring 2022. A further standalone single, Far Rider was released just ahead of the tour in February 2022.

Fell asleep while CZcams was running. After 3 hours CZcams came up with this and I woke up because I wanted to know what the awesome music is that I hear in my sleep. Became an instant fan, first subconsciously, then consciously :-)

The same happened to me. I woke up to The Message and fell in love immediately
Algorithm sent me. It's reminiscent of Mazzy Star days of the 90s. Not the same. But it makes me want to listen to Hope Sandoval! Or if Mazzy Star wasn't her.

Wow was so lucky to see SC play at Islington Assembly Hall last Wednesday 8th May - Man did they blow me away - the guitarist has such a beautiful style - the whole concert took me on a beautiful emotional journey (Or trip) - would love to see them play at Glastonbury to a huge crowd - and blow them all away. I found Still Corners by accident after listening to TV Girl playlist and I though, wow, who is this band?! And now I have listened to this Still Corners playlist every day on repeat for about 3 months! I can't stop - I keep trying to listen to other things but I just can't! I especially love Lost Boys! My new fave band I didn't even know existed!
