- I Applied HIGH VOLTAGE to Electric Toys! #4 (DANGEROUS)
In this video, I connected some electric toys to the WANPTEK DC power supply using wires. I continuously applied increasing voltage to the toys, starting from 5V and going up to 30V. Increasing voltage results in the generation of larger current in the motor, leading to an increase in torque and speed. The resulting effects were both exaggerated and humorous. (Easter Egg at the End)

One of these days you'll meet a toy with a speaker that can take more than 7 volts
It's probably the sound chip that blows rather than the speaker. Older sound toys were more fun - the sound would get faster and higher pitched as you increased the voltage (because they used a simple voltage-dependent timing circuit instead of a clock crystal), and then often start making crazy noises before finally dying.

I love how this channel went from "What would it happen if we over change the motors and circuits" to pure chaos.
It's funnier than even that. Look at his past uploads. He started out just making unconventional skateboards, then randomly branched out to alligator skin football, briefly sort of returned to form with a snowboard, evolved from the snowboard to modifying a rocking horse to be a snowmobile, then went all in on the snow theme and made an ice golf ball, and then apparently just fucking snapped and decided to make murder weapons out of toys before overcharging the shit out of them until they fry.
His post history has so much environmental storytelling to it and I love it.

Audio is usually around 0v, so -5v to 5v is pretty common. Pulling it low to -7 is probably what kills it.

TBH, the beggining scene of that kissing toy actually made me cry. But it's not because of the fact, how that man kissed 3 women at the same time, but it's because of the music, which plays during it.
