I don't often agree with JC, but I totally got what he said about "simply liking" a car. Plus it was quite versatile and usable for a car of its size. We managed to fit three grown men into the car comfortably with enough boot-space to spare for one of the guys' whole luggage. When I went to the same place the following year, they didn't rent up!s any longer so we got a Polo instead. And while that was the much more grown-up and roomy car of the two, it felt like just "a car". Even in its very basic version, the up! felt kinda special for some reason.

Either way, Top Gear is just so incredibly good.
@@Fizzure3000 I mean that maybe they knew exactly what was gonna happen when you drive around towing a log on dirt roads with a sufficiently short rope. Maybe they purposefully shortened the rope to make sure it would smash the rear window.
