She covered a song from her father Pino Mango, a very famous singer songwriter in Italy, who sadly passed away in 2014. He had a heart attack while he was performing at one of his concerts. Angelina was only 12 at the time. Her father also sang at Sanremo many times in the 80s and 90s, so she sang on the same stage as him paying this great homage. That is why she received a standing ovation from the audience and a long applause. I couldn't help but cry when I saw it

Brava grazie per averlo scritto. Da boomer appassionato di Mango, quando ho visto Angelina onorarlo in modo cosi alto e grandioso non è che ho pianto alla tivì. Sono deflagrato di singhiozzi e commozione.
La cosa sconcertante e incredibile è che il solo video disponibile, quello che hanno usato loro qua dentro, la Rai lo ha limitato a uno short di 1 minuto dopo poche settimane e io davvero mi chiedo come si possa anche solo antropologicamente pensare a una simile mutilazione. È orribile sapere che convivo con persone cosi demenziali.

this one was hard to sing for her. Pino Mango, his father, died of a heart attack while performing on stage. Angelina was only 13 years old and was in the audience. During Pino's funeral Angelina's uncle also had an heart attack and died. I can imagine the shock. This evening Angelina, not knowing if she would ever have the chance to return to Sanremo again, decided to pay homage to her father, from the same stage that saw him perform several times. Can you imagine the storm of emotions inside her.

Bad version of the original song. Her Sanremo song is bad (a low-key exotic tune) and i found terrible this version of her father's wonderful song.

Geolier's song is also awful, in my opinion. I'm sorry for you, but the contrast is not between Angelina and Geolier but between their songs and the good ones (like Annalisa's).
Annalisa was crushed between the posthumous awarding of Pino Mango and the mass of Neapolitans which probably voted for Geolier.

@@alessandroroveda2859 Non può rimanere una canzoncina, in quanto non lo è mai stata. È una canzone normale con un intuito moderno che presenta anche degli spunti originali. Quella di Angelina è un motivetto bruttino, simil esotico di basso profilo che ci riporta indietro di cinquant'anni. La canzone di Angelina piacerà ai boomer che ci rivedono qualcosa di Nilla Pizzi e a qualche ragazzino dai gusti discutibili che sente per la prima volta qualcosa di esotico.
