@@AtotehZ he didnt let them go cleanly either way, he actually left them tied up in their hide out after clearing them of their goods and food, then they become gag charas of getting a farm spot of items for naofumi

This fight was actually a lot less one sided in the LN, Raphtalia was almost killed but filo stampeded into the guy who grabbed her then she went invisible and slashed him
Yeah the class up guy was no joke. They made a big deal about Raphtalia being strong as hell but not even being able to challenge the class upped guy.

The manga treated this scene as an extra chapter of volume 3 and even so it began when they already defeated everybody.

They're paid handsomely in silver. Naofumi has to have a source of income because he can't rely on the king.
Well, when a night at an inn costs a single silver. And you're paid a few thousand silver a single day's work, making that money ain't a big concern when you're practically born with a silver spoon (metaphorically speaking). Of course, this assumes they actually pay to stay in the inns they go to.
I laughed so hard at Filo's response when Naofumi asked her whether she was hungry and she replied, "I am. Food!" Along with that glare! XD XD XD
Naofumi was joking, but I feel like Filo was dead serious about eating them.

If I remember right, they run into the same group of bandits after the first turtle fight and they get destroyed...
except for their leader who decided to plow fields for a living after this fight.
DemonDMC 1 they also attack the village later on, and eventually Naofumi sells them into slavery in one of the Demi-human kingdoms.
@@cecilrhodes2153 those are two completely different groups. the ones who attacked the village are the same ones who attacked the village the first time and left it in ruin, they also work for the church. The ones after the spirit turtle were just scavengers picking up valuables left behind from the ruins of the spirit tortoise.
they meet these guys three time and rob them each time, then ren captures them and rescues them, then naofumi beats them for the last time and all the bandits just want to go and live peacefully and not cause trouble anymore.

Filo looks more like a giant owl than a running bird.
I would have also sold them as slaves, the hero is only at level 1 merchant XD. The "class bodyguard" would have been worth something at least.

It just ends, with no other context. So if you havenât watched the anime, it just looks like he just lets flio eat them

Well, that ending scene where Naofumi threatened the bandits to make Filo eat them as food striking fear into them made me laugh.
I love how they're talking so much shit, then Raphtalia turns invisible and they all simultaneously shit themselves
My guess is that because of the sheer number of humans in Melromarc that are racist towards demi-humans that they assumed that even though she knew the words of the spell she wasn't capable of casting the spell and by the time they realized they were wrong they'd either already lost or enough of them were unable to fight that they no longer had the numbers they needed to win
Not gonna lie, the next scene where Filo is eating them as they scream and beg for mercy was kind of harsh.

You know this brings up a point. How come in rpg games with mounts ur never given a carriage to put stuff in? In games like horizon, red dead, skyrim and such it would help to have such things. Though in skyrim why are you the only one that rides a horse?

In all fairness, it could be any number of things why in consoles games. Mechanical issues. Time constraints. No one thought of it. Take your pick.
Now in tabletop RPGs... Depends on the game and the DM... and how much money you need to purchase a starter wagon and horse.
