After a 3 month long enforced absence from the river bank at last I'm fishing again. A first session back on the river in search of a Pike or two and I managed to avoid a blank despite being out of practice.

Good morning Bruce, and welcome back. I was only thinking last week that I hadn't seen anything from you recently and was hoping you were ok, so it's great to see you fishing again. I don't think you've missed much, to be honest. My local river Trent has spent more time in surrounding fields than in its course, and my club Stillwater's have been like fishing in liquid mud! Needless to say the pike haven't been that active. Anyway, fingers crossed for a couple of decent weeks. Take care.

Nice to see you back bruce and catching again. I have a break due to hip surgery,but pike fishing again and on a run of 5 blanks. Tight lines for the rest of the season.
