I have had the exact same issue with books and audiobooks recently. Im not quite sure what i want to read and its hard to explain what im in the mood for i guess? Ive been so unforgiving for off put grammar and sentence placements or like… when the character runs off with an ‘I, Me, myself’ paragraph of like … practically bulleted points of what they did in their day. Its like … first i woke up then i did this then she said this and i did this. Then i did this and blah blah- (was just reading something yesterday where a character did this) it was so off putting and actually made me kind of set it down and walk away from it especially when its supposed to be like… a fictional story format and fantasy romance… feels off 😅 still searching and looking for recommendations!
