Hi Kat, grief is the worst part of life that we have to deal with. But I remember something that my grandparents (who raised me) shared with me; the best way to keep those we lost alive is keep living and thriving as they would want us to! So that they can watch over us and protect and cheer us on. I personally still talk to my grandparents constantly, I know it sounds crazy, but trust me it helps. I honor them by trying to be the best version of myself that I can be and think of them often, and live life like they would want me to! I am glad that you are still motivated to draw, read, and shop for your new niece. That shows you are still thriving through your grief and that is all we can do. Wishing you all the best, sending you healing thoughts.

Girly we've had the best summer until now, June and the beginning of July have been super rainy and cold like around 68°F and I'm so glad. It felt like Autumn. Now summer is really rolling in tho. I hope I survive in an AC-less European summer. I also wish you loads of cozy and comfortable times this summer and pray that we spooky girls can enjoy it as much as possible. Oh and I'm traveling to London at the end of October and I'm suuuuper excited. Would be so fun if you could join and we could go to loads of cafes and bookstores and do tourist stuff. Lots of love

British chocolate is always so good, probably the only good food.
We took my 9 and 11 year old to see Lord of the Rings 1 and 2 at the theater a couple of weeks ago and it was great. We were worried since they are so long but they both really enjoyed them. My husband and I were 19 when the first one came out so it was awesome for us to be seeing them at the theater again.
