Get involve with other players on the side line when plays break down and discuss what U can do better. Shannon(as much as i hate him) got everything right on this topic. Jennings, Driver, Finely are not guys with sour grapes they know what their talking about. They know Rodgers isn't a leader because (they actually played with him that MVP season). Aaron Rodgers has actually been playing his best football in the losing streak. He even has similar stats to Brady the past 5 games, and he is has also been the leading rusher of his team. The difference is that he is surrounded by a team that sucks. He has a defense that is mostly made up of practice squad players, a beat up O-line, and receivers that can't get open, and no running game! Not his fault his defense is giving up the amount of points you would score in a Basketball game. As far as anyone can see, it is just Rodgers vs the opposing team since he gets no help from his teammates or the coaches

His receiver not catching the ball on the goal line and the late game fumble spelled doom for the Packers, and Rodgers had no control over it. Plus, Green Bay's defense is losing games.

We played against Yeldon, Mckinnon, Theo, Darkwa, Elliot (who ate us alive), Howard, Freeman, Gore. That's why we were ranked so high in rushing defense. As for passing defense, we've been bad since week 2 at Minnesota. It's just now gotten much worse since about week 6.

    Rogers fans, there is a difference between being a talented qb and a great leader. Your athleticism has nothing to do with your leadership skills, Joe Montana wasn't the most athletic QB but he was such a cool headed guy and a great leader that he helped lead the 49ers to winning the superbowl four times

  • @haydenlindwall
    @haydenlindwall Před 7 lety +5

    Moronic to even talk about Rodgers. You can't win games when the defense is getting torched for 40+ pts per game. Aaron over the 4 game losing streak: 111/173 for 1,270 yards, 12 TDs, 3 INTs. 102.0 passer rating. 115.0 passer rating last night.

      Some of those numbers are the result of garbage time stat padding, though. Rodgers hasn't been quite as terrible as a lot of people would have you believe, but he hasnt been as great as those numbers suggest either. It boils down to this: Aaron isn't playing great and his defense is playing about as badly as a defense could

    • @blackoperation14
      @blackoperation14 Před 7 lety +2

      But the point is that Rodgers is supremely talented but he's not a good leader, people don't wanna go in and fight for him like they do Brady or Manning. Last year Brady's run game was ranked 30th in the league and their defense was just barely top 10. Plus their entire offensive line, 2 best pass catchers, and 2 best RBs got injured along with their FB, 2nd string TE, other WRs for a few games, and several key defensive players. You know what they did, go 12-4 and come within 2 points of beating the eventual SB Champions on the road. Nobody is saying Rodgers is bad, but when you're held to the standard of maybe the best QB in the league, the numbers he's putting up combined with the mediocre performance of the team has to be blamed at least partially on you. Even in 2013 when Brady didn't put up great numbers, he still led his team to several comeback victories and went 12-4

    I'm sure a lot of people in this commented on this already but I'll reiterate it, I don't think Rodgers played that bad of a game though he did have a few horribly thrown balls that should have been an easy completion. This was a game GB's defense played just horribly bad, blown coverages, no sacks (didn't watch the entire game so I dunno if they had any), and bad miscues. What do you expect? Of course they'd get burned. So at this point it's just a throw away season, I honestly hope Detroit takes the NFC North, Stanford is playing so well he should be an MVP candidate. In conclusion, I think they should get rid of most of the coaching staff for GB, McCarthy isn't doing a very good job and Ted is getting to be too frustrating during drafts. It's part of their fault that we're doing so bad, if you had to blame someone solely for GB's demise, it would have to be the coaching staff and those other behind the scenes guys.

    Aaron Rodgers is only becoming like this because he's seen so much failure, I don't blame him for being frustrated when his defense has given up 140+ points and he has to keep fighting on offense to even get close. I think Greenbay is in a big slump but once we get maybe better coaching staff and we fix our defense we are definitely top team in our division.
