I have lived here 50 years. This town has just cost the tax payers in Bedford hundreds of thousands of pounds in refurbished streets when nobody shops there anymore due to high taxes they moved out. Those streets used to be packed, now look at your video & say where are the shoppers. The river area is the only good part of the town as the council have destroyed it & filled it with charity shops. The bus service is more expensive than a taxi too.
Bedford including the town used to be a great place. Sadly most other towns in England are just as bad. Shitty shops and overcrowded with people from god knows where.
