I just tried to purchase a trickery charm and the first listing TCGplayer added to my cart was $999.99! I was like, why is my car over 1 grand!? Insane people do this.
you know, an unintended circumstance of this is that some LGSs (like mine) sell cards based on their TCGplayer prices. So some LGSs might be overcharging without even knowing.

this is coming in late, but benevolent hydra is getting inflated massively. some sellers are listing it for hundreds of dollars, selling to themselves for 30 Plus when it was a 5 dollar card a week or so ago.
This is also bad because some brick and mortar stores value their singles using TCGPlayer, so people may unwittingly find themselves paying extra for these cards in store. Nowadays, I always check price activity before committing to a purchase at my LGS.
They have asked me why I go on TCGP when I’m literally going to be rung up with their scanning app. I just say I’m checking to see if I have enough money on hand before I put them through the trouble of ringing me up.
How to be a level 4 seller on tcgplayer:
51+ orders have to arrive within expected delivery date.
Must have a 90% or greater feedback.
