He broke up with his one-time fiancé through text message. Real gentleman and stand up guy...you’re right. She got what she deserved. Plus, why would your fiancé expect a face-to-face conversation about that? It’s ridiculous. Just be a man and do it over text. Women just want and expect too much these days, ya know? Instead of breaking her heart over a text...I think he should’ve just disappeared and mailed her a breakup letter, but at least the text was quicker.

He got a BIG endorsement contract from Nike ($60mil?) several years ago that took the hunger away from him. Sure, Rory will win a few majors, but nothing to compare with Jack or Tiger. You see it over and over. Look at Spieth... flash in the pan to mediocrity. Big product endorsements. Doesn’t have that hunger to win. JT is sitting on the fence right now. He can be either great(er) or, like Spieth, fall into mediocrity. He’s lost several leads because he can’t close it out. He's under a lot of pressure.to live up to his dad’s/granddad’s expectations.

For instance: there is no possible, physical way anyone can replace a marked ball on the green in the exact place it was when the player marked it, no way. He goes on to name the course, event and hole for each incident. Then there is Kostis’s live commentary on the Golf Channel, Barclays event where he talks about Reed putting an iron behind his ball in the rough several times before pulling a 3 wood to hit his shot stating………… “I don’t know why he is trying this, and second of all the original lie I saw would not have allowed for this…….” A damning statement if ever I heard one! Look up “Reed Cheat?” on here to watch that one. Lasty there is a video on here - see “Is this Undeniable Proof that Patrick Reed is a CHEATER?” that’s show him cheating in the sand in 2019, at the same event, doing exactly the same dirty trick in 2015. I googled "Patrick Cheat" and found MANY articles on Reed cheating.

Assess the penalty, don’t pile on. I watched heroes of the game like Ben Crenshaw tap down spike marks. Additionally, in the 70-80-90s early morning guys would twist spike marks around the cup

I'd say if it wasn't Patrick Reed and say it was a Golfer from Europe then it would be big news.

Exactly. Rory is a puppet of Nike.

Yes! Take the penalty and move on. But?
He tried to get away with it. We've seen other situations Patrick has been in in the rough. Where his ball is nestled deep in the rough and after addressing the ball with different clubs the ball isn't nestled down anymore. How does that happen? The cameras couldn't see the ball before and after 5 different club addresses the camera can see the white of the ball.
Patricks a cheater and should be monitored by the rules officials.

Players who have been caught cheating before are much more likely to be closely watched for more cheating. So, yeah, if it wasn't for Patrick's history in this regard, it may not have been as big a deal.

Rory is class act, a grandpa in a childs body , golf ain't as big as life, and family.
I play with a doctor, hes been cault twice. I dont understand, hes also a fun soul to be around, it makes me feel, he don't think were sharp or care enough to catch him, now we all know, and said, watch him call him out.

This is so funny. In an amateur tournament if you so much is move a blade of grass the wrong way you'll get called on it, and not in a nice way.

Back in 90’s College golf ; if your bag was struck with opponents ball- two stoke penalty . My brother was on the Fresno State team ...... if losing the match , last ditch was hit shot into their bag 💼

Wow. I have so much respect for Rory. Especially that deep rough call he made on himself at the PGA.
But when he says Reed was only called out for moving sand because ppl don't like Patrick Reed. That's not good. Rory is sticking up for a blatant cheater now.
I'm no longer a Rory fan.

Hi. Do reconsider?. He's in a difficult lie when asked these questions. Old UK hacker here, wish I had Reed's talent.. that 3 iron round the trees from the right into a distant green recently? Fabulous.

@@tim40gabby25 You mean Reed's approach on 9 at the Master's. Just showing off how much golf I watch.
A ggod shot doesn't make up for cheating.

These players need to stop talking around the obvious. It was a penalty. There is no way Reed didn't know what he was doing. Koepka says it happens on tour with other players more than people think. They all have a responsibility to protect the integrity of the game and they aren't doing it.

the guys i play with improve their lie in the rough every time--100% But when i did it my buddy Sal called me on it and i said: you guys do it all the time-- and he said: yeah but we suck!

Rory looks like the type of guy who would hand in a wallet full of cash personally to your door. Reed looks like the guy who'd not. I mean this, and I had such feeling after looking at his face and glance (edit: for the first time). Could I rely on that? Well, it's working so far.
