But.. why would you try it like that ?

Hes not a legend hes an idiot. He tested something thats been proven a thousand times before. Ideal hypertrophy range is 8-12 reps, as simple as that🤦

Bro it’s already normal to have a muscle imbalance but this guy is taking it to another level 😭😭😭
When i was 12 i wanted to look like death from regular show with that big ass arm, so i started to lift weights with my right arm only, fast foward 10 years later and both of my arms looks the same but my left one is useless 😭😭😭

Researchers have been doing just that in high quality studies FOR DECADES to prove stuff like hypertrophy range (6-35 reps), resting time, weekly volume, etc but people JUST DON'T READ them or listen the experts.

Me when you could do both light and heavy on different sets/days 🤯
Lucas is great. But dang he really put himself as risk with that challenge.
Literally the key to bulking muslce is doing heavy weights until you can do them for a good amount of reps and then continuing to go up in weight, it’s not about how many reps you do it’s about progressing to heavier weights, they did a whole study that shows it’s more about good form and heavy lifting that builds more muscle
Source?
@@Andreze266 buddy you only make progress by doing full range of motion, and going up in weight, look up Jeff nippards yt channel and he has all the sources and studies you need. Even clear back to Mike menzter days, he talked about how more reps isn’t always better, less reps with heavy weight till muscular failure is better for growth. Dude at my gym is huge and there’s machines where he doesn’t do more than 4 reps but is absolutely huge, change up your training and you’ll see a difference. I gained not even near as much muscle doing lower weights higher reps compared to heavy weight less reps

your mom
Partly true , you have to damage the muscles (not tear them lol) in your workout so they can heal and grow bigger/stronger this is why it is stupid to overtrain which many people do , so point is you need heavy weights yes but only as heavy where you can still do a correct form (mostly to avoid injuries, bad form can still build muscle but you risk injury) with a good rep so anywhere between 6-15 rep, you need reps and weight to achieve hypertrophy , you make it sound like a powerlifting training is the way to go to build muscle which is false, you need progressive overload but only if it doesn't cost you the correct form , pointless to ego lift just because you think higher weight will get you more muscle , it will only get you a nice tear
body dysmorphia be hittin hard
If you want to grow muscle size (hypertrophy), 3-4 sets at 8-12 reps, at 70-80% 1RM. To gain strength 2-6 sets at 2-6 reps at 85% or more of RM
Hypertrophy extends out to even15-18
Rep range is irrelevant for hypertrophy as long as you train close to failure
What is RM?
6-15 is shown to have pretty much the exact same amount of hypertrophic effects, this "strength rep range and hypertrophy rep range" isn't really true

Bro tried to hide his addiction. 💀
As a swimmer, we do light weight and lots of reps. We also do a crap ton of body weight. Glad it seems to be effective
Heavy Weight control it is the way to go
Yep usually I agree but on some stuff like a cable row instead of banging out 200 with ok form I'll drop it to 120 and really squeeze and get a good stretch
low weight and control doesn’t matter about muscle growth. what creates muscle growth is failure. controlling weight with dieting gives muscle maturity and striations
@@Polarzzcontrol matters we are trying to isolate muscle here

NOW BRO LOOKS LIKE A MASTER DEBATER
Pigmie is a legend
Bro at least mention my boy @pigmie is an absolute legend, used to watch his flip tutorials in 7th grade
Bro is trying to get the quagmire strat
Quagmire 💀
Dude just showed that he responds more to light weights.
The muscle grows fundamentally due to progressive overload in the work performed, even so, adaptations to stress and recovery capacity make it necessary to test and make adjustments to the intensity and volume to allow recovery of both.
If you do want to balance your left and right arm, all you have to do is count your reps and make sure that you do the same amount for each arm. Do as much as you can with the side you're trying to build. And if you have the same reps, the other arm will grow at the same rate or less. It'll balance out
Now he has to do his other side too to balance it😂
Strength is more weight less reps, endurance is less weight more reps
Whoa! I used to wash the sky when he did break dancing and flipping stuff!
Bro gonna turned into corrupted Zamsu
bro took the hardest method to cover up the nnn fail.
Don't do this else you gonna become Quagmire...

Bro pigme has been at this for years 😂
From talking abt drugs to this bro really had a glow up
simon cowell getting them gains
my right arm is already much more jacked than my left one.
dont ask why
Light weight for muscle size heavy weight for strength
What really matters is that you train to near exertion. Whether you do that with heavy or light weight probably doesn't matter for muscle growth, but heavy weight is obviously faster and light weight is less risk of injury
BUT YOU HAVE TO FOCUS
Bro wanted to become a L4D Tank so bad..
I love that guy
Man even if I trained them both. My right arm is always bigger than my left
He made himself left handed
This is why getting in to comp fencing when I'm young and not working out that much outside of practice is scary to me. Fencing is a super asymmetrical sport in terms of muscle development, not to mention I'm always looking right.
The best way *from my experience* is to start at low volume with a certain weight and then train it to high volume, then just increase weight untill its low volume again. Its a little bit more complicated than that but it works really nicely, kinda a advanced progressive overload technique.
Yeah i just sorta keep it simple i do 10 reps on most exercises til i feel like its easy then i up the weight and keep doing it til i hit 10 reps and so on (this for mostly machines and dumbbells) i do bench, squats, deadlifts differently
Bro is outsourcing content now
How to get muscle imbalance. "But you gotta focus.."
body dismorphia is scared of this guy
The problem is he's doing one lift on the heavy side to 30 lifts on the light
that’s the goat pigmie
Hear me out right side for light punch's and shadow boxing and left side for heavy slug boxing
From my experience strength and muscle are different things
His name is pigmie, hes a great guy and makes good content
This is why you mix it up do 4 sets of heavy movements and 4 of lighter movements
heavy will make you stronger and lighter will make you more aesthetic
I didn’t even have to do this! I just broke my right leg and arm at the same time!!
