That huge save by Campbell on Stamkos was the play of the game, maybe of the series. If that goes in, it's tied and probably heading to overtime with Tampa having all the momentum.

Lyubushkin's hit just before the leafs' 3rd was the momentum shifter for me. Campbell played light out to be sure

like Ive been saying for 2-3 years now, I love Engvall and Mikheyev... while so many people said get rid of them. and they have kicked it up a notch the 2nd half of this season and continuing in the playoffs! keep the same lineup for next game.
Have to admit those guys drove me nuts until this year. Mikheyev was great in game 1 as well.
They've both found a new gear this season. Engvall could always make great plays, he just used to make as many boneheaded mistakes. He's cut those way down now. Mikheyev learned to finish lol
I agree, you can tell that over the years they’ve improved so much! Engvall, Mikheyev and Kampf are so underrated and beneficial to our team
Mikheyev could play on either of the top two lines and contribute. This team has some damn good depth right now. Loving the play of Lyubushin. He's our Bobby Baun! And if Campbell can stay hot, they'll move past Tampa in 6.

This recap makes the Leafs look dominant...when the game was far from that in the second half. Pulling Vasilevski was a huge mistake. Bolts were doing just fine at even strength and would have forced OT...Glad they did pull him though!

So far, secondary scoring has been huge (Kampf, twice) and Campbell has been solid.
Cannot figure the transformation. He was nowhere near what he is now with the Hawks. His shot could not break an egg. Do not know what you guys did to him.
@@smilanesi98 Sometimes all you need is a change in environment. We traded Barabanov to the Sharks and he’s flourished there.

We've put 11 goals (not counting empty netters) past Vasilevsky, while 4 of TB's 7 goals have come on the power-play. As long as the Leafs stop taking stupid penalties and don't mentally collapse when the pressure is on, this series goes to 7.

@@adandemobilegamer With the way the games have been called it’s apparent both teams’ tough guys are less important. Kudos to the Leafs’ coaching staff for making the adjustment and replacing those guys with more skill. Kudos to Dubas for adding depth pieces that allow for these personnel changes mid-series.

Everything came together for the Maple Leafs last night. They were focused + determined 💪 for the win on the road! David Kampf is sure coming through with great goals in this series. Jack Campbell only letting in 2 goals on 34 shots, now that's impressive!! U don't always need your star players to pull it together.

what's very apparent to me is that tampa doesnt play well until their on the brink and well toronto once they get pushed to the top of the mountain and grab the prize will fall short. it was even apparent in game 4. judging by the first 3 games the series will go 7 with game 7 not being very close well b/c were talking the champs vs the chokes

Uuh leaf’s 5 pp vs bolts 3 lol. The team awarded most pp in each game has won. Refs are literally deciding games in leaf’s favour. Not sure what you are talking about.
@@trevorrochon6983 Two of those Tampa penalties were delay of games which you have to call. So not including delay of game, the calls were even. However with 3 minutes left they completely missed a non call on Vasy when he played the puck outside the zone. That could of easily been the difference maker tonight.
@@canadianrage5224 there’s called missed every where which is why nothing except blatant infractions and plain black and white calls should be made in the playoffs such as too many men or delay of game. Picking and choosing between one interference call or the other is ridiculous. If it’s extremely obvious ya call it but soft calls and sellling calls shouldn’t exist in the playoffs.

Although I'm happy with the win..the Leafs need to stop giving the puck away in their own zone. They lost many board battles which can as we all know turn the tide for the opposition. Campbell played lights out for the Leafs...they need to be tough along the boards and look to where they're passing the puck especially in their own end of the ice.
