For me, stress is the hardest thing to control. Sun exposure and lifestyle habits ive got down but the stress thing is tough!!
it is tough
@@DrDrayzday absolutely. I can slap on sunscreen, I can avoid the junk food but if my boss is bustin my ass or my car breaks down, its just so hard to manage these things emotionally despite all the techniques out there.
Same my friend, same
@@projectme3334 same and more if you just born sensible, is like u cant stop it

You can't even imagine how much we love you.
I have bipolar and anxiety disorders and since going to therapy my acne is so much better. Wierdly my eczema went to town, I had do stop touching anything that has fragrance that's not lavender, what I've found after few months. But your advice is so helpful, thank you Andrea!
Same here, my skin got much better once I got better mentally too!
Not an expert or anything but meditation would be a good idea to start, it helps you calm down and can practice yourself in controlling your own thoughts and emotions. It's just good for our mental health in general, makes you peaceful and can improve patience.
Because stress is the topic you have to cover night shift skin care, Dr. Dray! I don't think anyone on youtube covered this yet. I am at wit's end trying to prevent premature aging while working nights 😩
Yes! Please make a skin care video for people on night shift @Dr. Dray
Sameee
I put on Retin-A, moisturizer, and oil.
True .. been working in mostly night shift for 7 years .. I'm 26 years old and I can say my skin looks like I'm 35
Can you please make a video about the difference of moisturizing vs hydrating your skin and which one is better to do if you live in humid places? Thanksss!
good idea
@@DrDrayzday please do make a video on this!
Good idea. Yesterday I was explaining to a guy that there was a difference between
moisturising & hydrating the skin. This was after he said that he had started a new healthier lifestyle and wanted to start taking care of his skin; so was genuinely interested in what I had to say...including #1 sunscreen! He was relieved to know that great skin care doesn't need to cost a fortune. eg. Waiting/shopping around until Neutrogena, CeraVe, Cetaphil etc are 40% -50%off, store loyalty programs etc. I also off course recomended that he watch Dr Dray's channel.

@@DrDrayzday yes please,,

I am facing problem, that is my face skin Doesn't absorb any types of moisturiser, after applying my face feel very heavy & greasy with warm sensation. My face skin create more oil production but my face looks dull & dehydrated..

@@tumpatumpa8763 I've got same issues . I can totally relate not matter what I try my face would get insanely oily .
I’m a psychologist and I can say that a lot of my patients have presented skin problems, a lot of people don’t even know how dangerous stress can be and the fact that it can cause all sorts of health issues.
@Dr. Dray fake ass bot
Thats not dr dray! It's a bot for anyone who doesn't know already
Absolutely!
I'm just in a constant state of chronic stress and I have to do so many more steps when I'm actively super stressed than the short periods of calm in my life. Lifestyle changes are always the hardest
I am always stressed and I have such a hard time helping myself. Sometimes I feel like if I'm not stressed, I stress about why I'm not stressed. Thank you for the video!
30 minutes of pleasure reading (not work or school related) and 30 minutes of moderate exercise changed the game. my hair was falling out and going gray and i’m only 22 🙁
thank you for the tips and reminder, i need to get back into reading again
Yes! Self care is so important and having that unplugged time from technology has helped my stress level decline so much
DR. DRAY is seriously my Skins Guardian Angel!! Absolutely love all of her videos she's so informative and brutally honest!
I’m living for these new camera angles
I’ve struggled with severe panic disorder for 10 years. My skin looks like I’m 50 but I’m only 28. I hope I can get back to normal
I personally think you look your age, and you look nowhere near 50. You are beautiful girl! I'm wishing you luck on your journey.
No 50 tear old looks like you. Trust.
No 50 year old looks like you. Trust.
I know this reply is late but incase you're still worrying. Assuming that's a recent pfp, I think it's likely anxiety that is warping your perception and causing you to believe you look 50. I promise you do not look older than 20s
I have been under an immense amount of stress for the past year and I’ve recently developed folliculitis, some dandruff, and have started to get more spots on my back, you have no idea how encouraging it is to hear that it could be attributed to stress and something I can work on controlling. Doctors out here suggesting antibiotics for everything and completely ignoring the holistic side of things. LOVE your content so much ❤️
Well this is timely!! I have been going through a lot of stress lately and was just thinking how much I am aging myself with so much stress! Thanks Dr Dray❤
This was a good one! also- Those side angles, love this!
So stressed! Travelling during this period is extremely nerve wrecking.
travel was stressful to begin w/ ..i can only imagine now
@@DrDrayzday can you recommend gluten free skin care or make a video please! Thank you.
even commuting is stressful nowadays lol...
Some people are double masking. Maybe wear a face shield too, even if you'll look like a member from Daft Punk.

I don’t know if I feel better or worse watching this. I’ve been under chronic stress for four years. You are right that nothing has aged me faster in my face and with hair loss. 😔
I hope you are feeling better now. Yeah same i wass feeling a lot of stress for so long already. And it starts to show on my body
Came here to say the same thing. I hope things got better in years
I am forced to take melatonin at night, because of my insomnia. Even when I exercise for 2 hours, my anxiety disorder makes me sleep weird.
I'm not stressed, I'm STRESSED!!!
Thank you Dr. Dray! You're the best skincare guru on CZcams! 💗💓💕
I have stressed myself out so much this past year that I have got seriously ill. I already have a blood disorder so stress doesn't help. Great video ☺️
This is the video I needed to watch.
Dr. Dray's skin looks perfect!
Dr Dray you are my de-stress, can’t thank you enough Xx
Dr dray i just want to thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, please know that it is much appreciated !! :)
Happy Thursday ! Thank you Dr. Dray 😊
I’m comforting a friendly stress pimple right now! Lol I love seeing you exploring your creativity in your videos! And as always, the content is informative! Thank you!
Yay! Thank you!
Hi Dr. Dray! Happy Thursday! I hope your mom and Tybee are doing well, miss seeing them😊
My husband lost his job and my dog was diagnosed with cancer in the same week, last week. My skin looks like crap right now.
I am so sorry. I pray that he will find a other job soon.
Hugss 💌
I'm so sorry! Take care ❤
Sending hugs ❤️ I hope it will get better soon!

Thank you Dr dray for introducing me to hero cosmetics. They are helping me so much! I am a chronic face picker stressed or not and have been since I was a little kid. This not only has helped my face but other bug bite spots or itchy areas heal sooo much faster by keeping my scratchy fingers away. I also started using the balm and like that as well. What a lifesaver. Thank you so much!!!
Me feeling stressed as I watch a video about how harmful stress is… 😫
Thank you for your outstanding output, very useful. As a person who recently struggled with mental health and severe anxiety, I encourage every person who's in distress to seek medical help. Sometimes minor adjustments to our daily routines such as a healthier diet and more physical activity can really improve our quality of life and our skin.
Great timing, in Melbourne we have just started another 5 day snap Covid lockdown, due to two people in a moving van bringing the dreaded Delta variant of the virus (more transmissible) via Sydney. It is our fifth lock down. I know we can get through it again, but I have needed to support others who are not coping already (knowing what's ahead). Please phone anyone who lives alone, they may be feeling lonely. I am looking forward to having my second dose of the vaccines this afternoon!
👱♀️❤
Dr. Dray you’re brilliant - great video
Needed this!! Stress really impacts my acne!!!
Same here
thanks for watching
This explains a lot.
Omg this much knowledge about stress is stressing me out 😂
Some unknown rashes and hair loss has been my stressor this year😫
Is anyone else resentful towards their body for punishing you for feeling stressed 😂 I don’t want to feel this way either, body
That would be me (grrrr)!
Sadly it's our mind's fault. Our body is just reacting to the emotional state we are currently in. The key thing here is learning how to control our mind's negative thoughts which, at least for me, is quite hard.
@@cristianpuerto5549 very hard indeed!
I feel resentful towards myself for causing stress to my body :(
I'm wearing a couple of Mighty Patches now, and they really do work.
Thank you, dr. Dray 🤗
Thank you for reminding us of how valuable deep breaths are.

Not me literally itching my skin right when Dr. Dray mentioned it being a thing people with psoriasis suffer from. And to think my doctor didn't even mention mental health while telling me about my diagnosis.ಥ_ಥ Thanks for the info, Dr Dray🤍
Fyi: she has a seperate video on psoriasis and mental health ;)
:( I have psoriasis and I have a habit of picking at the flakes some days I do some days I don’t and when I’m stressed I’ll pick and scratch until it bleeds 😭
I stopped going to doctors because it's so pointless and aggravating to wait a year to see a dermatologist just for them to not know what's wrong with my skin 😭 Thank God for Dr Dray!!
It's so cool that you're experimenting and try out new elements.😊
This video is a game-changer. Sadly my doctor didn't tell me information like this...😢
I always get these rashes on my entire body when I'm stressed and I didn't understand why until now, thank you doctor dray ❤
A video about skin made me cry, unbelievable. I have had the most insane skin and hair worsening in the past year - from random and persistent acne to premature greying of hair to extreme hair loss to wrinkles that seem to be getting worse each day. I really needed this video as a wake up call to finally stop being so goddamn hard on myself and really destress as best as I can
Your work ethics!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Happy Thursday Dr Dray...see you tomorrow x💙🤩
Thank you:) very timely
Happy Thursday!!
Hi Dr. Dray 💗🌸 Can you maybe make a video about Laser tattoo removal and how to cope with irritation after treatment as well as scarring? 😊
good idea
Would appreciate this video.
I use mighty patch on ingrown hairs on my calves. I'm trying to get ahead of the problem by using Differin at night and Cerave psoriasis moisturing cream with 2% salcylic acid in the morning.
👍
Great topic Dr. Dray! For anyone wondering about the benzene in sunscreen issue... J&J announced that it's recalling several Neutrogena and Aveeno sunscreen products due to the benzene findings. Article on The Washington Post this morning.
I would think most companies would recall the sunscreens involved in the initial study. A lot of regular consumers seemed to have issue with trying to figure out the lot numbers provided by Valisure.
It made the Wall St Journal, also
Thank you!!!
Are those sideway camera angles new? Interesting change, they kinda make the videos seem even more professional! And I loved the little breathing exercise at the end, you're so sweet for doing that Dr. Dray
Almost Friday! Enjoy Dr Dray and peeps ❤️ 🎉🌹☕😎
Morning!
Happy Thursday Reed 😃🌹
You are amazing ❤ your videos are so helpful informative. I'm so glad i've found your channel 🥰
Thank you for the video Dr Dray! As a med student who barely gets any time to exercise, although does follow a healthy diet regime, do you have any tips on managing time and stress?
Could you make a video talking about ways to help handle colorless bumps or pimples on the chest, specifically between the breasts?
Happy Thursday Dr.Dray🤩🥳
Morning!
I realised my adult acne is stress related when I got diagnosed with a chronic stress condition. I'm always suuuper oily but my lips are always insanely dry and I don't feel like my skin absorbs moisture as well as it should. Ever since I stopped working my skin has been the best it's ever been, but it still has a long way to go.
Dr Dray, would you consider doing a video on aftercare for ear/cartilage/body piercings?
Happy Friday Jr. 🌻🌻🌻
you too!
Dr Dray, what do you think of the Anma tool? Thank you for all your informative & honest videos!
I only get zits occasionally but when I do they're huge. Those hero patches rock, they even make my zits stop hurting. First time I haven't picked a zit in my life too. (mid 40s).
Thank you I needed too hear this .
Lack of sleep and stress wrecks my skin. Unfortunately, I work crazy hours at a stressful job. 😩 Takes me a long time to unwind once I get home at night. I've tried the Mighty Patch and have found them helpful. I read every night before bed to help de stress and that helps also. I did the deep breathing along with you and felt better!!! I'm going to try to incorporate doing that several times a day. Thanks for the helpful video. Happy Thursday, Dr Dray!! Hope you have a stress free evening! 😬💜
I've been stressed out a lot since Covid 19 personally and professionally started doing yoga from last 6 months and eating healthy has helped me 10% better now thanks for the vid Doc
Great informative video as usual, can you please do a video on peri menopausal skin, please?
Dr Sam Bunting has some videos. Dr Sarah Tonks has a video as well.
I have psoriasis and I have been very stressed and it is worse.. I also have weird itchiness..Thank you for this video...you are so great !!😁
Love your videos, just weighing in on the different stuff you're experimenting with - I don't like the multiple angles, just from the front feels more personal
You are so nice person! I love you!!! ❤️
You are VERY helpful.....thank you.
Can you do a video on J&J recalling certain sunblocks? Thanks Dr. Dray
Thank you For the advices. 🌺🙌✨💫
PLEASE review the loreal age perfect serum “foundation”. It is hydrating, has niacinamide, and SPF 50! I think this could potentially work as a tinted hydrating sunscreen!! Plus it has 30 shades!! If enough is put on I think it could work!
Happy Thursday :)
I love the way you help all of us! It’s so appreciated 💕
My anxiety triggers incredibly painful perioral dermatitis, and the anxiety is so intense that I have additional body sensations that make the anxiety worse. It’s a vicious cycle.
I live in a extremely toxic household where there is drama everyday I hate it I scream and cry a lot in my bedroom and mm… it’s affecting my physical appearance and making me feel even worse 😢
Pray to God. My house is kinda toxic too. Handover your burdens to God.
Don't be afraid to speak to Friends, Family Members, Police either. You don't deserve this torment 😢
God Bless you ❤
Dr Dray can you please review the Hero Cosmetics sunscreen. 😀
Happy Thursday guys
You too
Enjoy 😉
Not me sleeping 5 hours and a half per night ..
that is stressful
😬😬 same sometimes though
Working night shift and my crazy 2 year old. I’m trying to work on not being stressed but that goes out the window pretty quick 🤷🏻♀️
Yessss when I was so stressed during college that's when my cystic acne developed 😭
My first uni-exam week? My internist had to hook me up to a heart monitor. He said, "I am not giving you valium, but you need to calm down you are making my machines go haywire." LOL I was terribly anxious and he got me "Sedinal" which is a concoction (legit) of various herbs, quite well-known in Belgium and it saved me. I was 18 at the time and the age made him not want to put me on medication. I was very thankful for it and for the herbal concoction. It got me through.
Same:(
Thank you for the deep breath break...ahhhh.... ☺️
Dr. Dray what do you think of the Clarifying Prebiotic Moisturizer? Would you recommend using that for combination skin???
Definitely slacking on some self care . So busy with school and work and have ocd , anxiety , and borderline personality disorder. Just got and iud, started a retinol, and am very stressed don’t even know what is causing me to break out this bad . I have never broken out this bad in my life . I’m 22, my face is covered in acne and dark spots rn ugh 😣
Thank you! I got covid in February this year. Afterwards, I had a severe case of dandruff and rash around my neck. I'm getting better now after I've seen a dermatologist.
