Ben is a song Michael sang when he was 14 for a movie which is about a pet rat. The movie won awards and the song went number one on the charts making it Michaels first number one hit as a solo artist.
It’s funny seeing how Michael’s vibrato gradually got faster over the years.
can you believe that 11-year-old Michael put ben at the top of the Billboard, the song even won a Golden Globe for Original Song and was nominated for an Oscar.😮

This song is way more sweeter coming from Michaels angelic child voice, but it never fails hearing how he interpret the songs at an older age.

Ben was the first song I remember hearing from MJ. It was every child's anthem back then. You should listen to his younger version of the song...sounded so angelic.

MJ sang this song when he was around 12 years old. This song is based off a movie called Ben. Ben was a movie about a pet rat. If you watch Jacksons American Dream you will see that MJ befriended a rat in their house when he was around 5 yrs old. You can watch that movie on CZcams. There are a few reaction videos on it. 0:04

Ben was a rat actually, it's a song in a movie.
And one More information about Michael that he loooove animals he said that they are very special creatures which is true . Even in his Neverland ranch he has a zoo which included ilama called louie , a monkey called bubbles ( this 2 pets are very special to him ) , giraffes, elephant, lions , parrots and a giant snake called muscles😂😂. That's what i recall right now but he had much more and the interesting part that he had knowledge about these animals and how to deal with them not just having them ❤.

@@thekingmichael3486Ohhhh I didn't know it was fabricated for the American dream movie, I know he made it when he was really young and all, but I always thought because of the biopic they did that he actually had a pet that he wrote the song about lol, He plays it off so well you'd believe it! ( but still very disappointing how Joseph affected them all, which Seph will see when he looks at interviews etc... from there younger days)
@@thekingmichael3486 Don Black and Walter Scharf wrote the seemingly tender ballad "Ben" for the 1972 movie of the same name. It was the sequel to a movie called Willard, which was remade in 2003 starring Crispin Glover.
In Willard, Ben is a pet rat trained by a human named Willard who has learned how to make rats do his bidding. Willard has the rats kill for him, but at the end of the movie they turn against him

I don’t think prince is better. He and Michael are on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to the type of music they make so it comes down to what style you prefer. That being said he would indeed still be great to react to. I think him and Michael are both fucking fantastic and the top guys in music ever
