At the end of Seattle day 2 with abby, when you are exiting the parking garage right after the rat king fight, water is coming from the ceiling and abby will react to it.
After Ellie finds out the truth about the vaccine at the hospital. When you hear the tape recorder playing that Ellie picks up the voice talking is actually Mels voice
During the scene at the dance, if you listen really closely after Ellie says "I don't need your fucking help, Joel", you can actually hear Joel's heart break in half.
Another cool detail is when Ellie knocks over and smashes a jar in the Aquarium and it is also smashed when Abby gets to the aquarium. If Ellie doesn't knock the jar over then it is also still on the table when Abby gets to the aquarium. Love the content by the way 😁

I do though love the graphics, environments, how the game works (control wise) and the best part is the outstanding attention to detail. But yeah shit as story. I've played the game twice (about 3 months apart coz I never wanted to touch it again after the first playthrough) and I don't intend on playing again.

To be completely honest, probably not that long lol. They probably ran it through a program that simulates the movement and did some tweaks. Great detail though
Most characters will scavenge items around the area as part of their idle animation, like you do as a player. When you travel with Yara after her arm is amputated, the game animations don't take this into account and she will continue to pick up items with her missing arm.

Idk if it’s been mentioned yet but a cool detail I noticed is when you’re scrolling through your skill trees and scrolling through each skill, it sounds like flipping pages through a book/magazine. Pretty cool since thats what you use to unlock the skill tree!

I'm glad she did not. It takes away from unique moments. I'd expect that anyway which is why I appreciated it when I spotted that she wore one of them near the end.. I dislike predicted things in video games and especially movies. Which is why I'm not much into movies or TV/app series anymore. Too easily predictable.
hey, something that I found curious is the "mirror" that is created between the scene of Ellie in the theater and Owen in the aquarium. the two warn of a pregnancy and are defeated on the ground after a fight. i don't know, but that's just cool to notice
and when you realize ellie tells abby “she isn’t a part of this” with a knife to dina’s throat and says nothing but gets prepared to cut it while ellie holds a knife to levs throat and abby says “he isn’t a part of this” ellie responds “you made him a part of it”
One day the last of us 2 is gonna end up like the star wars prequels, everyone hated it at first but then come to realize how good it is towards the end.
Based on the comments, it already has. I'll never come to terms with it. Neil took too many risks to create this story for the sole purpose of stroking his ego and pushing his narrative. But then again, that's what Lucas did with the prequels, so you're statement isn't wrong.

I will NEVER get sick of this game. Story and gameplay are second to none IMO. So what do we think folks, will Part 3 become a reality? Or do we have the rather morose ending for Ellie? I like that Abby got an implied happy ending, but at its core, it's Ellie's story. I'm content either way honestly, but I truly feel like a trilogy might be the way to go with this saga.
Neil burnt me good on this story and the terrible characters. I don't think I have a spot for a third installment. There's too much damage he did with this game that he can't undo or make up for.
A couple other cool details: the dinosaur pamphlet from the science museum flashback can be found on Ellie’s art room table at the ranch in the end; and on Abby’s and Lev’s sailboat, you can see Owen’s firefly tag laying on the table
Even though I don't care for the story of pt 2, I will give credit to all the people who put alot of work into the details of this game and the designs. They are phenomenal...just wish it came with a better story.
There's also another detail about abby.. she is afraid of heights so whenever you look down from a certain height, abby starts to breathe heavily and worries a little bit.

Wolf’s on Elle birthday are 8 5 hunting moose(wolf bite his leg, like Abby shoot Joel), and 3 staring at her Like 8 killers in Jackson In Santa Barbara Abby lose some teeth, so I think that’s the one of the reason that she lose weight.. Sorry for my English) One thing I don’t understand in this game, why in Seraphit camp wood are not burning, I mean where they cook.
My man could you PLEASE have a look at this door in the Aquarium? I was doing a 100% run and when I was abby and owen was first showing me the Aquarium (after the part where they slide down the rail) I noticed there is an intractable door to the left and out of bounds. I had turned on the filter that makes intractable objects highlighted and yellow amidst a grey background when I noticed the door was highlighted yet I'm sure you never use the door at any stage in the game. With how the developers are so strenuous to detail and add hidden things all the time I thought it to be a bit strange they'd add a door you could USE but could actually REACH. if you could have a geez that would be awesome, I dont have the equipment to go check it out and it's been bugging me for months ❤

Would of liked that ellie comes bk home then goes past jackson n runs into dina and they talk then abby comes out of the woods with lev hurt but not bad and she shoots and they ellie hops onto dinas horse and they go away from jackson to the cabin that joel got killed in and lev n dina get into upstairs and then ties lev up in the basement and hears what ellie did walking down the same steps and opens the door and sees lev and gets knocked out and wakes up tied across from lev and watches lev get tortured and killed by ellie and abbys last words r we let u live and ellie says maybe you shouldnt of and u see ellie swing and it goes black and then credits roll and at the end a special bonus chip and u see ellie and dina walking upstairs n meeting tommy and dina and ellie says she is dead and dina falls to the floor and ellie like whats wrong and sees blood coming through her jacket as abby got her in the stomach as dina fades she says take care of him for me and dies and. Either game ends or end credits

It's really sweet that Ellie wears Joel's jacket and I like it a lot as a character thing... but how does it fit her? Seriously, Joel is SO MUCH BIGGER than she is! The cuffs would be hanging past her fingertips!
No matter how impressive the graphics, continuity, and physics are, it won’t take away from what the story did to a lot of people. I know shit ain’t sweet in a post apocalyptic world but this story could have been told so much better that’s the only gripe I’ll ever have against this game. 8/10

When you fight Ellie as Abby, if you upgraded the shotgun and the bow in Ellie’s playthrough, the upgrades are visible during the boss fight

There's some interesting stuff written on the dog tags on the corpse of Boris Legasov. It says something about firefly door stuff.
I noticed that There's Also A Salt Lake City magnet on the fridge in the farm , there soo many détails in this games

Would of liked that ellie comes bk home then goes past jackson n runs into dina and they talk then abby comes out of the woods with lev hurt but not bad and she shoots and they ellie hops onto dinas horse and they go away from jackson to the cabin that joel got killed in and lev n dina get into upstairs and then ties lev up in the basement and hears what ellie did walking down the same steps and opens the door and sees lev and gets knocked out and wakes up tied across from lev and watches lev get tortured and killed by ellie and abbys last words r we let u live and ellie says maybe you shouldnt of and u see ellie swing and it goes black and then credits roll and at the end a special bonus chip and u see ellie and dina walking upstairs n meeting tommy and dina and ellie says she is dead and dina falls to the floor and ellie like whats wrong and sees blood coming through her jacket as abby got her in the stomach as dina fades she says take care of him for me and dies and. Either game ends or end credits

This was a depressing game, Jesus Christ. Ellie's personality completely changed, there is no joy in her eyes.
It's really sweet that Ellie wears Joel's jacket and I like it a lot as a character thing... but how does it fit her? Seriously, Joel is SO MUCH BIGGER than she is! The cuffs would be hanging past her fingertips!

They put so much work into a game that isn’t even canon.
No matter how impressive the graphics, continuity, and physics are, it won’t take away from what the story did to a lot of people. I know shit ain’t sweet in a post apocalyptic world but this story could have been told so much better that’s the only gripe I’ll ever have against this game. 8/10
