I'm not sure if this has been said, but when you're playing as Abby, and look down when on something tall, she starts panicking.

When you make it to the aquarium as Ellie.. if you shoot arrows into the ground and wall and wherever else where Owen’s bag and pillow are, when you come back as Abby later, those arrows are still there. She doesn’t comment on them, but, they are still there.
That's pretty nuts considering how many hours later that is. If you shoot the walls do bullet holes stay too?

@@AndyGilleand Why nuts? It's doesn't matter how many hours transpire between the two events, seeing as there's nobody left alive in there. So everything remains undisturbed.
at the start of the farm portion of the game, before you go to the kitchen to meet Dina. You can hear Dina hum the song Take On Me that Ellie sang in Seattle for her. (you can best hear her by hiding behind the wall by the stairs before the kitchen)

I LOVE how Ellie and Dina have a wind up record player. So retro.
Apologies if this was in a previous video, but one thing I've noticed recently is that on Abby Day 2, in the Seraphite Ambush encounter, Abby is actually in the offices of the animation studio that made the movie 'Housebreaking Rufus'. That is the movie being shown at the Jackson movie theater in the prologue. You can see the poster in Jackson and you can see the poster and character sketches, etc. on the walls in that area.
So cool! How did you notice this?
Not sure if this was covered in a previous video, but has anyone else noticed that you can see Maria riding up to Joel's house when Ellie picks up the picture of him and Sarah?
Crazy that new details are still being found almost two years later
Not sure if someone else has said this but just in-case, the thing about the PS3 consoles is due to Sony policy. Games produced for the company or by the studios they own aren't allowed to depict the destruction of them because it's anti-consumer. They're also not allowed to depict the destruction of a rival's consoles (Say, an Xbox) as a result of company equality and fairness to that policy.
Still a neat fact though!

I took a look closely at Abby and Manny's room. You can kinda delve into their interests. Manny (and possibly Abby too) is into manga, anime and movies. Manny's got lots of photography stuff on the shelves near his bed, while Abby's is more plain but she's got books and a photo of her dad. Neat little details
Manny mentions a few times while on patrol with him that he likes/watches anime. He says at the end of the patrol he wants to get drunk and pass out watching anime

I’m sure it’s probably been discovered but the other day I learned you can actually hear the characters breathing if you wear earbuds in a quiet location
I'm currently in my fourth playthrough and I just noticed something small, but meaningful. In the early part of the game when Dina and Ellie are on patrol, and after Ellie gets attacked by the offscreen runner. When you go and check the semi truck for supplies, while Ellie is scavenging, Dina will actually stand by the door and keep a lookout for the both of you. Subtle detail, but something to increase the immersion.
Almost 2 years later… I dream to one day be a part of something like this.

if that’s what they mean then same. even tho day one would be the worst and most hectic. being able to explore the abandon buildings, not worrying about work or school assignments, being able to just roam free without getting yelled at for crossing private property. idk i just feel like it would be fun…

Has this been covered? When Dina sleeps in the theater lobby, you can’t shoot or throw bricks/bottles. Because that would wake her up.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE, JOEL SHUT UP I MISS THEM 😭 I know she kept that tape so that she could still hold on to a piece of him, especially him at a time like this, getting to be a dad again and really, truly happy. Not even just him, but their relationship at this time. They were at their peak here and I just know she’d reminisced about it at least once. Boy has my hyperfixation of them ruined my life 😖

I'm not sure if anyone notices this. In TLOU part 1 you play the daughter of Joel once and she died in the beginning of the outbreak and you play as Joel only once in part 2 before he is killed by Abby early on in the story. A very sad coincidence in the franchise.

in seattle day 3 (abby), when isaac is about to shoot her, you can see his finger almost pulling the trigger before he gets shot by yara
She didn't really clean the weapon there. I mean, in one way or another she did, but with the fire rate upgrade she actually changes the pistol's frame and slider for polished metal ones. She also changes the hammer for one made of blued metal.
She does change the hammer but she didn't change the slide. She actually just cleaned it off. Used gun oil and a rag to remove residual rust. Hence the slides look exactly alike just different hues of color

Many fans knock this game but it's still one of the best games ever made.
3:18 best game and BEST MULTIPLAYER for ever
And to think people shit on this game because "writing" which was in fact, good apart from a few spots. But those few spots can be found in Tsushima, RDR2 and most other games.
This video game by far has the best gore system, yes, better than REmake2. It's a blend of Survival Horror, Stealth and Action. Maps are designed SO good, no bloat, just open sandboxes to play in it.
Does the music stop playing when the needle reaches the end of the record?
Does it ever specifically say why Abbie’s hair is cut after she gets caught by the Rattlers? I assume it’s because they did it as part of her torture, but not of the other slaves have theirs chopped off so it doesn’t seem to be a regular thing they do
