    I am a no stickers, no decorations kind of planner, so I appreciated the system. Thanks for the tips!

    Love this! I’ve been saying for years that I am going to do this and I haven’t done it yet. I used to keep a list in my planner just like that with our favorite meals on it for quick meal planning, but I love that you went a step further and have all of your recipes together. My recipes are all over the place. I’m putting this on my list of projects I need to tackle.

      Love that! Yeah I had been saying the same thing and making it to be too much of a project (like I was gonna take photos of everything I cooked to print a photobook with recipes like a cookbook!) Finally just did the simple thing and I love it!

    I'm in the process of really going through my recipes and streamlining my meal plan system even more so this is perfect!!!

    Loved this video. Very simple and practical ideas. I definitely needed this when my kids were much younger and life was super busy. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks! I realized later that I should have classified my beef section similarly to beef/pork.

    Such a neat binder. Love this idea for recipes. I’ve been wanting to create a system to keep our family’s favorites together in one place, but most of them are living in my head (passed down from family) so they really do need to be written down somewhere. I definitely like how you decided to organize by meat which would be a great way for my brain to keep things together, too.

      That reminds me I have a couple of family recipes written down that I need to transfer to this book! Thanks for watching Lauren!

    I had to keep pausing the video because meetings and baby lol but I’m glad I watched this! I had a binder like this in 8th grade and was obsessed with it lmao I should’ve known then that I was a planner girl. This is such a great idea! And it won’t get dirty when you’re cooking lol im a messy cooker.

      I got sick of having to clean my phone more often than I should when using it for recipes. Always messy!

    What about cookbooks?!? Haha that's always my problem too because I have so many cookbooks, and I honestly forget about them because I just use my printable recipes from Pinterest or something. I'm wondering if I like dedicate a month to each cookbook?! And then just make that part of my routine?! I am up for suggestions from you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    • @KristanKremer
      @KristanKremer  Před 2 lety

      Oh man, me and cookbooks just...IDK I love looking at them but I hate cooking from them. I never use them. Ever. I think if I had a favorite recipe from a cookbook I might actually make a copy and print it out for this binder LOL I tend to look at cookbooks from bloggers I follow, so I'd probably just look and see if they have the recipe on their blog to print out (they usually do). I really like the idea of committing to a book each month though. Sounds like a fun project and new content for you! Haha

  • @tanyaatmomssmallvictories9687

    How often do you grocery shop? I always want to plan out meals for the month in advance but then wonder how I can store it all.

    • @KristanKremer
      @KristanKremer  Před rokem

      This is something I'm experimenting with. I tried doing a huge monthly shop and then just supplemental runs for milk or fresh produce or whatever. That kind of worked but I think I prefer shopping weekly mostly because I just enjoy it and I currently have the time to do so. We don't have a large pantry (just a small reach in) but we do have a large chest freezer. I've just been creative with pantry organization (putting all the extras on the top shelf and keeping only the current week's food on the main shelves).

    How did you get the “favorite recipes” title page?

      It's a vinyl I cut on my Cricut, just using their design software. Thanks for watching!
