This is the best pattern for this scarf. It’s summer but I’m going to do this now. Thanks.

You knit in the back of the last stitch on the rows? Beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial !

Yes, it makes the stitch tighter for a cleaner edge. Happy knitting!

Thank you so much for this pattern. It is so simple and easy to follow and just what I needed. No fiddly adding stitches to another needle just bind off and cast on for the hole. I wanted an easy pattern to make my Husband a keyhole scarf and this fits the bill perfectly. I would like to make some as gifts as well as I have some yarn that will make lovely soft scarves. You explain this well and I have managed to write down what you did by watching the video and stopping and starting it again. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us.

    Hello!
I have two questions after watching your wonderful video...
Firstly, would you have a written pattern to purchase and print, by chance? Then, I was wondering if you knit through the back of the stitch on the last stitch of every row? Watched the video several times and I think that’s what I’m seeing?! If so, is it because you’re knitting a slipped stitch?
You’re video showing the key hole step is the most easiest one to follow out of several I’ve watched or read! Thank You!!

This might help you. Written instructions. It's a different stitch but works the same. www.ravelry.com/projects/judytopaz I have lots of free patterns with written instructions on Ravelry. I'm judytopaz there.
I knit through the back to make a tighter edge. Thanks for your comment. Please keep watching. New video yesterday.

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but how many inches did you knit before you placed the hole? That is to say, how many inches after you got to your maximum number of stitches, which I think for you is 23, did you knit it before you made the slit in the project ?
