This is the best pattern for this scarf. It’s summer but I’m going to do this now. Thanks.
perfect thank you so much!!!
I've watched this video so many times--every once in a while I need a reminder of how to do this and this video is clear and concise. Thank you!
Thank you. I sometimes go to my videos when I forget how to do something too. Happy knitting!
But… on the back of the work as you keep switching colors, what should the positions of the two yarns be? You only show what you do on the front. The back is important too.
Finally a good one! I was soooo close, was doing a thing but clearly not the correct thing. Thank you for this video, this is extremely helpful to get started with. Saving this one!
was looking for a nice lace pattern like this in english for hours now until I finally found you. Beautifully explained and showed. Much appreciated, thanks for this :)
Best instructions for this scarf I’ve bound, thank you
So confused…do you tie the thread together in a knot before you start sewing??
E. Nota 10. .Parabéns obrigada.❤
Thank you so much for this content! I loved stripes but hated weaving in the ends. Now I get to knit all the stripes I want ❤
just bought one these, so excited for fluffy mohair crochet 💖
Sorry but that’s confusing
price and delaer tpno and other details
Thank you so much! I've been looking for this pattern for a long time 😊
I watched even though I have a sewing machine
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Cast on a number divisible by 4?
Cast on multiples of 4 plus 2. Happy knitting.
Thanks!
ah this is exactly what I was looking for!! I've been using the twist and weave method to add colours but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to stop that hole from forming when the yarns are already attached ^^; thank you!
Sorry it took me so long to say thanks. Happy knitting!
Thankyou so much God bless you
It’s been so long since I knit I had to relearn how to cast on. Thanks for being here for me, Judy!
I don't speak Knittinese, so I don't understand what you're saying, Probably because I'm too worried because I don't know if this will translate to the way I knit, which is ither Continental a.k.a. German, or Eastern a.k.a. Russian. Or Combination - but English makes me dyslexic. I can't ever remember where to put the yarns which way to rap it or anything but it mainly does not compete with my brain because it's such a stop-start halting way of progression I cannot for the life of me with my pragmatic brain, figure why anyone would want to do it that way , When Eastern is so straightforward and easy with economy of motion , very direct actions and so simple.
not only are you a creative knitter but you also seem a very creative thinker....what a combination!! Glad i found your site!! Thank you for sharing your talents!!!
Sorry it took me so long to say thanks. Happy knitting!
Very nice ❤
Thank you so much, that was so easy to understand 😊
I found it difficult to follow at my beginner speed. Showing it slowly a couple times prior to quickly putting stitches on would be helpful.
Very clear stitch demonstration. I think I’ve got it! Thanks!!
Sorry it took me so long to say thanks. Happy knitting!
watching this in 2024, thank you judy! i hope youre having a wonderful day 😊
Why have you knit the last stitch into the back?
This is amazingly helpful
Thank you so much for this! It's the most comprehensive video I've found without being ridiculously long for no reason!
But they are not twisted 🤷🏼♀️
Thanks Judy! I'm turning a heel on a sock and somehow I'm short one stitch. Thanks!! 😊
thanks! i’m so tired of chasing my ball of yarn under the chair! 🤪
This is SO BRILLIANT!! The double stitches don’t show up thicker in the work? Thank you!
Here in 2024 and this was so helpful!! Thanks Judy!!
I love learning new stitch patterns (especially ones that are easy to remember). Thank you!
Hi I want to use this stitch for a baby blanket because its so easy to do but i have started it with 160 stitches ...it doesnt look wide enough to me Do i have to cast on extra stitches in doing this stitch ...
If it's not wide enough then you will need more stitches.
This will be excellent for combining lots of my thin knitting machine yarns together so I can hand knit them thank you
Hi
This is a really old video but it's still helping people. thank you
Some things never get old. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you to say thanks. Happy knitting!
Very nice Judy, cute stitch and the yarn is also beautiful🧣
Beautiful ❤❤
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you to say thanks. Happy knitting!
Thank you. May I ask is it possible to do a different stitch (seed stitch for example) with this pointed end method?
Sure. Just remember to increase till you get to your desired width. Happy knitting!
Thank you! I wasn't sure where to start
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you to say thanks. Happy knitting!
exactly what i was looking for, thank you for explaining this!!
So glad I was able to help. I've been using the German edge a lot lately. Happy knitting!
You knit in the back of the last stitch on the rows? Beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial !
Yes, it makes the stitch tighter for a cleaner edge. Happy knitting!
So do you kind of need 2 twist & guide the 2 yarns simultaneously as they get fed closer & onto the ball winder,or does it naturally happen while twisting?
I always let the yarns slide through my hands as it goes.
Is there a place that we can get the printed copy of this pattern as well?
yes. It's at the bottom of the video description. These are fun to knit and make great gifts. Happy knitting.
Je n'ai jamais trouvé de modèle de point en français. Je suis très contente de votre explication, c'est très facile et très joli. Merci beaucoup.
