This reminded me of my mother - sadly, now dead. She knitted a version of this type of scarf to keep her warm while playing outdoor bowls. Hi, I want to knit this with bulky (6) yarn. What adjustments would you make?

Repeat the pattern but stop making increases when width reaches 11.5 cm. I did not use super bulky yarn for this type of scarf
