@thebull110309 unfortunately most of them are migrants once they go through the asylum process. They'll get asylum and get the same benefits like any other citizen. I worked with a lot of people from Guatemala and El Salvador that you would never guess were legal. They barely knew English and were able to get employed like that. As a matter of fact, most work places around here prefer if you speak Spanish to get a job in most warehouses. Sadly a majority of these people flowing in will get status unless something is done about it

That map of deaths is kind of interesting. Pretty sure there are border checkpoints all along those areas.
The migrants could have just gone to the one in Nogales, Douglas, Sierra Vista, Tombstone, Tubac, or anywhere and not died in the desert.
Its almost like some group might have told them to avoid the checkpoints at all costs.
