Back in the day when Jaclyn was going to collab with Makeup Geek she complained about the price MUG was going to put on it. She said it needed to be affordable for her followers. Then she comes out with lipsticks and highlighter that are priced on the high end side. She’s not the same person I use to watch years ago. Of course we all change over the years but you should never lower your integrity and standards. I would like to try some of these but not at this price point.

PLEASE do a video doing a full face the way the Scott Barnes did Tati’s makeup where u cream contour first and concealer then use foundation over top !
Also u have the perfect lips to do the trick where he puts cream contour around her lips😍😍 it’s basically the way he does J lows makeup a lot
I do not like this technique. I've actually stopped watching Tati for this reason, and I appreciate Allie for keeping it simple and staying true to herself. Allie is my newest favorite.
Courtney Young I think they are both great in their own ways ! I watch Allie more than Tati yes bc of her personality and how light and delicate she is with her makeup application but Tati has a lot experience and can really snatch a face for camera or every day wear . Watch her latest video (:

These are a miss for me, as I don’t like blinding highlights and how the last launch was handled...but I hope her future launches are a more affordable price range. If I’m going to spend this much, I’m shopping at Hourglass.

I just bought their new highlighter in “Snow much ice”, and it is BEAUTIFUL. So icy and reflective and wet-looking (in a good way).

I think you sold me on the Mood Light highlight. I’ve got enough blinding highlights and I’ve really tried to consolidate my collection to only what I use regularly. But, I don’t have anything like the Mood Light powders. I do wish they were more affordable though.

The dew me and brighten shade there actually luminous powders not necessarily a loose powder highlight ... More of getting a subtle finish of shimmer then using on the high points of your face . That would be why they didn't show up great on your arm!

A lot of people who reviewed this collection talked about the luminous powder negatively saying that it wasn't that blinding, but you reviewed it the best in my opinion because you knew that it's meant to provide a "glow from within" kind of finish which honestly I loved the most out of the 3 formulas that Jacyln created.

You are seriously the only person on CZcams who reviewed this collection that did swatches of every powder. Everyone else just used what worked for their skin tone. Thank you for that, amazing girl!! You just gained a subscriber!
I would honestly love to try these highlighters but this collection is just a few years too late, in my opinion. We have so many highlighters available nowadays that are phenomenal and won’t break the bank. I’m so glad Allie got to meet Jaclyn though! It must’ve been so amazing to meet the person who lit that inspiration for you :)

there are not many subtle highlighters like the mood lighting highliter though

It was a breath of fresh air to watch your review and I was charmed by your story of meeting Jaclyn. I have no plans to purchase any of this new collection, however, I love the idea you have for using the loose pink-toned powder for an all-over-the-face setting powder. The compacts are what intrigue me the most, the packaging and presentation are luxe and remind me of Becca products, which I aspire to own but generally can't afford. I love the tones in the deeper/rich palette even though I am fair-skinned myself; they will make great simple eyeshadow shades. Thanks for your review and video and safe travels for the holiday!

The brighten up mood light really made a beautiful lit from within on you. It never occurred to me a product could give me an all over glow. Wish it was a bit cheaper

Hi Allie, the dark highlighters you could use as a bronzer. It gives a great dewy look. 😌 That’s what I do when I have a darker highlighter, I am very fair as well. 💕
The dark bronze highlighter looks great for an eye shadow. Perhaps the darker highlighters can be used for eye shadow. Very pretty.
I wanted to see you review this so badly only because I know your preference for "lit from within" highlighters. And of course I've already seen 100+ reviews so I knew that the last formula (loose highlighter) was super effin blinding 😂 I was most eager to see your reaction to the BEAM !
