Polish & Guinean Special Force Shows Their Combat Strength During "Exercise Flintlock 2020"

- Members of the Polish Special Operation force and the Republic of Guinea Armed Forces Shows Their Combat Strength, refine weapons techniques and practice marksmanship during Flintlock 20 near Nouakchott, Mauritania, Feb. 17, 2020. Flintlock is an annual, integrated military and law enforcement exercise that has strengthened key partner-nation forces throughout North and West Africa since 2005. Flintlock is U.S. Africa Command’s premier and largest annual Special Operations Forces exercise.
Approximately 1,600 service members from more than 30 African and partner nations will participate in Flintlock 2020 at multiple locations in Mauritania and Senegal

Just by looking at the way the unit is taught to enter a building by forcing the door worries me that, in a real life situation, the result would be terrible for the soldiers. What if the door was booby trapped? How about a string strewn just above the doorstep to trip the soldiers scurrying inside? Why is the solder who's opening the door for the unit not hiding behind the door? He's simply inviting bullets or shrapnels coming into his body from inside the building.
Having opened the door, the next thing should be to start a volley of fire or pelt a grenade, at least a smoke or stun grenade if not actual one, thrown inside for safety. Of course, with some hostages held inside, the situation is riskier for the attacking party where they should avoid killing innocents or very important people, so the TOE might be different then, but with just terrorists hiding inside or enemy soldiers, there's no limit to using such preventive measures first.

@@niewinnny Chodzi tutaj o wykształcenie nawyków działania, a nie same wybuchy. Podczas szkolenia rzucać można czymkolwiek, niekoniecznie od razu urządzać fajerwerki, ale podczas zbrojnego wtargnięcia do budynku przez zabarykadowane drzwi, okna, mając świadomość, że będzie opór - z pewnością należy stosować wszystko, co zminimalizuje ilość ofiar i obrażeń po stronie atakującej i osób przetrzymywanych w środku.
wiem trenowałem w Danii walki w terenie zabudowanym idlatego przecież mówię,że to może być początek szkolenia.Poczekajmy na końcowy rezultat
