I got error code E3, opened the door and found that part of a shirt was over the rubber seal. Tucked it back into the tub and tried again - still wouldn't start up and E3 appeared again.
Your video confirmed my suspicion that the door closure was the problem. I closed the door again, very firmly, and the machine started up as normal. So, try slamming the door before rushing off to buy a replacement part.

Thank you so much, this was the exact problem, the door switch was intermittent. Ordered another one from Bosch, installed two days later washing machine is back online. Thanks for the step by step instructions. Bike tyre levers work well on steel retaining wire for the rubber seal. Great help.

Hi there, I have bosch series 6, E3 error, machine doesnt drain properly, ive cleaned drain filter.
Ive cleaned with bosch cleaning chemical, to no avail my machine still doesnt drain properly.

Hi please check that there are no coins stuck in the drain pipes. Also check that the drain pump when remove filter is spinning freely. To do this remove filter. Start spin only cycle and see if pump is spinning freely

Samsung if it had bridge motor yes otherwise it’s the motor controller on digital inverter ones

Nope. E3 is for brushes.
I bought and new door switch and nothing. Changed brushes and it was fixed. You are Not telling us the right problem
