    Thanks for posting this! I called my local repair place, and they said they could come out "sometime next week; we'll call you"... I found your video, and it empowered me to open up the back panel. I didn't see anything wrong, even though water was pouring down. So I removed the top panel (2 screws and viola!) and immediately saw the problem: a small black tube had come off the connector. I dried all the water, reconnected the tube, and it's working great.
    Not only did I save myself a lot of $$, but I feel useful around the house for the first time in years ;)

    I accidentally flooded my mum's laundry by leaving the drain hose out of the sink during a wash, and enough water got into the machine to set off the aquastop. Even the cost of the call out by the Bosch mechanic would have had me eating ramen and frozen vegetables for three months to pay her back, let alone whatever he would have charged just to dab up some water. This video really saved me, dude, thank you!!

    Congratulations on the excellent video. My Bosch Logixx 8 Sensitive machine caught water in the aqua stop detector because the filter was clogged. There was no damage beyond that, but according to the Bosch manual, I could not be the one to unblock the F23 error: I would have to resort to technical assistance.
    In fact, with the help of this video and after drying the circular base of the dectector very well, with absorbent kitchen paper, and finally the rest of the moisture with a hair dryer because I had the machine full of clothes that could dye, I was able to unlock the machine.
    It's back up running and it's great. I saved at least € 100.00, and in addition I got to know the inside of my washing machine.
    Thank you so much for sharing.

    Thank you for your excellent video. My machine is a Logixx8 WAS32794ME and it looked exactly the same from the rear and within. In my case, the leak came from a small black hose that had detached itself from a spigot. I was able to identify this following your instructions and then removed two more torx screws to slide the top of the machine off. The hose was on the left side and the spigot was attached to the drain pipe. Simple fix, saved me a couple of hundred bucks to get a technician out. THANK YOU FOR POSTING!

    Thanks! It really helped finding the error! It was a draining hose on the back part full of garbage, near the water pump, but the worse was the extracting hose on the top part, than was out of place, and the o-ring was now where to be seen. The trick was to follow your instructions, and follow the water dripping. I had to dismount both the back part and the top part, but it worked out! Thank you very much.

    Hi Mr Washy Washy,
    Great video. Thanks for uploading.
    For me the Aquastop system inlet is leaking right after the hose enters the machine and it is difficult to trace if the pipe is leaking or from where the water drips.
    Can you advise HOW the drip cause can be found for fixing it?
    Do you have a video on how to replace the aquastop system?
    Do I have to replace the whole system?
    Where best I can get guidance for this for DIY - Do it Yourself?
    Thanks

      Hi welcome. Is the water leaking from the black hose when the water enters the soap dispenser ? Unfortunately I don’t have a video of replacing the aqua stop hose. It might be there hose has come loose where it enters into the washing machine (the water valve and hose meet) sometimes these become loose. What’s your model number I’ll attempt to do a video in the next few days

    • @asim.awan13
      @asim.awan13 Před 2 lety

      @@askmrwashywashy Many thanks for the reply.
      It is not the black pipe but the white one which is connected from the water inlet point to inside the washer. The place where it gets inside (at the inner side of machine) it has some drips. One technician has indicated that there is a cover (where i5 has drips) and that has gone missing and that's why it has the issue. It may be a temporary fix by using some sort of stopper and sealing it OR else the comple aquastop system needs to change.
      The model is Logixx 8
      Thanks again

    I have a Maxx 7 and I can’t open the machine like you do here. The back plate is in a small nearly circular shape. You can’t see or reach to the bottom. On the front it’s the same, you have merely a small hole to see through but the rest is hidden. There are a lot more screws but it definitely works differently for this one.

    • @askmrwashywashy
      @askmrwashywashy  Před 2 lety

    • @chopstickSH
      @chopstickSH Před 2 lety

      @@askmrwashywashy you mean the bottom that is accessible by turning the machine on the side? Yep, we checked that. There is a large panel with a bunch of screws and that would have been my final idea for the night. But eventually, we realized that the leak was coming from the door seal. It looks like something or someone tore out a piece of the seal (by accident). Anyway, I've ordered a cheap replacement part and hope that will do the trick.

      It's a Bosch Eco Silence Drive series 6 front loader. Purchased 3 years ago. Can't find a model number. No leaking seen but water layer at the bottom. An unused hot tap above the washer on the wall had been dripping for half an hour. Perhaps the problem? Back off for 3 days now. Warm weather. Nice and dry base now but E23 still beeping even after holding rpm/finished in buttons together.

You'll need to lean the washer on a 45 degree angle to the front/left/right/back whichever one you can do to make sure all the water is out. I would say the hot water tap leaking might have been your issue

      If you still have flashing F:23 after fixing the water leak and drying everything out, the problem may be mechanical rather than electronic or electrical. I went through all the checks on this video, fixed the leak and completely dried out the ‘drip tray’ but still had flashing F:23. I then tried multiple combinations of dial settings and button pushing to ‘reset the electronics’; nothing worked. Eventually, I went back to basics and inspected the leak sensor (see video from 6:30 to 7:10). It is very simple; underneath the plastic housing is a polystyrene disc that will float up on any water and and close a small switch. Somehow, even after thoroughly drying everything, the disc was now permanently closing the switch. I simply raised the switch housing by Blu-Tack-ing two coins under its left-hand end; problem solved!

      You would need to take the top lid off and have a look inside. Hard to see where it’s coming from without taking the back cover off or front cover to fully investigate.
