He has those thoughts because he works his ass off on the Farm. Had to earn his guitars and be humble from day one. His parents deserve a ton of credit also, for installing such great humblism and work ethic.

When this boy covers any song,he changes it in a way that makes it seem as if it was never any other way,..and that is rare. They talk about how he sounds older than his years,but Sawyer feels the music and lyrics. They speak to him like blood flowing through his veins. I'm a vocalist myself,though retired now,and I can see how he resonates with whatever he is singing. It's a part of him,inside,so it looks and sounds like he has spent years learning,when it is simply,..him. As I said,Rare,..very rare and exquisite.

To me he is better than the other 15 winners of the voice and ties up with Jordan Smith . I still miss 2015 this was the year of voice in all aspects in terms of success , producing great artists , getting most streams and getting more viewership . I wish SAWYER and JORDAN come back on the VOICE to give me a reason to watch THE VOICE
I find no reason to watch The Voice since being introduced to this very original artist. Sawyer has been a prolific songwriter since age 11, and has released 2 full albums of original music since The Voice. Check out the albums A Good Storm and Hide Your Ghost. I was at Sawyer's concert last night here in Phoenix, it was amazing. This was the last stop of his west coast tour. I got to meet him and his mom, they were the nicest people.
There aren't many people or artist that sing who I could listen to all day long but Sawyer really is one of the rare artist that I could chill all day long.

Do you know some times you can be so happy for someone you don't even know ,and wish them all the luck in the world .
Well this guy is one of them people. Never lose them family values and kindness they will guide you through the rest of your life.
I never get tired of hearing the songs and comments from Sawyer's appearances on The Voice. It has been amazing to watch his journey this past year.
The kid radiates pure talent. A vintage range in voice. You cannot hate him because he has that angelic look and voice. Plus the songs he sings. You know they played exactly into his style and what he can do.
I love going back and watching Sawyer do these songs, and I love listening to all the judges tell him how good he is:). Sawyer is definitely one of a kind! The way he connects with every song is just amazing to watch. His gift is, who he is as a person and the music he songs! A beautiful person all the way around!!

How do they sing with such a young guy! He is a man of WISDOM in a very young man, but look @ King Solomon!! He was only 20 when he took the Crown as King from Father King David. Read Samuel's 1 & 2, and then onto KINGS 1 & 2!! Keep him in mind as you walk through those books. They're like reading Sawyer Fredericks' life & Emotions deep within.

Fantastic compilation! I fell in love with Sawyer's soulfulness right away. So much maturity and an old soul when singing.
One comment: "Old Man" has nothing to do with Neil Young's father. :) I've seen Neil Young in concert right after he composed it and sang it for the first time. He said that it actually had nothing to do with his father. Basically, he had just bought a large ranch in Northern California, and there were two older men who worked and were caretakers of the animals there (mainly horses) for decades. Neil connected right away with them both. I'm not sure how the lyrics relate to the one older man he really admired; however, he said this song was written just for him. Peace.

Dang, even in April 2016 this kid still gives me chills. He is so amazing. I am an old lady too, so it isn't some fan club thingy either. I heard a song he wrote a couple of years and can't find it, but it is about a break-up, it made me laugh. Don't forget your cat. I locked the door, so you can't get in. It's not me, it's you. hahaha Wish he would record that one. Love it.

I agree yet he thinks "Old Man" is Neil Young singing about his own father which he wasn't. He was singing about an actual old man he met by chance who was very much the same as him. Regardless Sawyer is one of a kind and love to hear him sing Mr. Young's song 🇨🇦

I wish I would have subscribed at the time of this competition, I remember it well, Adam was a jerk during his competition because he didn't get Sawyer, he already messed up a person hopes of winning. I'm glad Sawyer didn't choose him, then again nobody did for a while too.
