We continue our tour through Vietnam on a motorbike this week. Just the one, Aimee decides to leave the solo female rider behind and perhaps it is best all round for her to leave her motorbike back and jump on the back of mine.
This week, around the Ha Giang loop is probably the BEST week of incredible scenery we will witness. The north of Vietnam is absolutely incredible!
But we do hit a bump in the road.. so to speak and have a little crash - Craigs fault.

I've lost count over the years of the amount of times I've cried with Aimee. It's hard to see her upset and I totally empathise with how anxiety constantly tries to steal the joy of life. Thank you for sharing your struggles too xx
I think Amy's anxiety cannot be helped by bad mattresses and poor sleep, soupy humid hot air and crazy traffic. If it were me I would say no thanks to this trip in general, but kudos to you for toughing it out since you wanted to continue in spite of it all. You are a bad a$# woman!!

For every 1% that want to stay, 99% Vietnamese want to get out of this Commie sh*thole, and many have risked their lives doing just that, as evidenced by 39 ill-fated lives found in UK container truck recently on the news (and that's only what's been reported, unfortunately). The bigger the bike the more comfortable it is, wider seat, more padding and the better it hugs the road especially around the curves

@@jpagany745 True, but Paddy missed out on some of the sceneries they showcased in the video on the ride up. :) Also, their animated intro really takes the cake and when they show on a map where they are with the moving heads...super well done all around.

Okay, I haven't been to Vietnam now, but thanks to your videos and your motto "Rule your own world", I told my fear, "f*** me!"... ;D ... and then I started my Honda SH300i scooter and rode all alone from Upper Austria to Lake Garda in Italy... 1.345 km! It was sooo beautyful and i'm sooo happy!!! đ€©đđ”đŠđčđźđč I'm a 54-year-old, severely overweight, bipolar woman who often couldn't go out of the house for a long time. I said to myself: Fear is born in the head... Aimee can also do so much... Courage is the key to freedom... And then I was at Lake Garda!! đ„đŸ For that I say especially to you, Craig and Aimee, THANK You SOOO MUCH from the bottom of my heart!!! đ„°đđ€©

Amy 100% doing the right thing going on the back, I did the same and don't regret it, my partner loved driving the bike, you can take in sooo much more that way! I absolutely LOVE longer videos like this- you lot have absolutely inspired me to save up so I can travel more! And I'm so glad that Aimee tried being on her own bike before riding with Craig; sometimes you have to force yourself to do the uncomfortable thing so you can at least try.

Maybe I'm missing something but really don't understand why "driving yourself" is such a big deal. You are in Vietnam, having the same experience but more comfortable so 100% you do you! Pair up and you can always pick up a few driving bits on the road but no need to. Key thing is you and Craig! From a viewer perspective it's actually more fun to have you two on the same bike!!!

raw vietnam at it's best. bring's back the memories of when i did the nam. Tip from an old school biker, when you guys are on steep uphill bits. Lean forward as that was why you potentially came off. all the ballast is at or past the rear wheel. And i don't mean capt B. so leaning forward helps to transfer some weight to the front. Ride safe keep smiling and keep the vlogs coming. the longer the better i say. i am hoping you hit hoi an. the way you guys film would send this place into an orbit all on it's own.

Well that was worth the wait !!! felt like I was right there with you ⊠scenery is exceptionally beautiful and the smile on Aimeeâs face after getting on the back with Craig looked full of relief and joy. So glad you decided to go 2 up ⊠the anxiety just wouldnât be worth it if itâs going to put a damper on the holiday. We did a farm stay, think it was called Pharm Nang and the drunkest and sickest Iâve ever been on their rice wine ⊠it was all fun and giggles ⊠and then it wasnât. I was literally on my knees trying to get the key in the door to my room ⊠and then threw my guts up đAhhh holiday memories. Looking forward to next weeks vid enormously ⊠and def prefer the longer ones đđ»đđđ„°
Hahaha no way! Theyâre so bad in these home/farm stays đ yes I was much happier on the back - I feel like if we had more time Iâd have kept it and just taken my time but we probably would have missed our flight home if I was still riding đ
