  • I absolutely adore this man. Nathan and I met many a NAMM ago through our good friends at Source Audio - the company for whom he now works - and it was an absolute blast getting to spend a week with him at Warwick Headquarters in Markneukirchen, Germany. In this lesson he shows me how to play a really cool slapped palm-muting groove.

I've gone from 35 years of guitar/piano/vocals to dropping it all now to learn this bass playing... These guys are just off the wall incredible and I need to learn this "NOW" while I'm still here lol

Welcome to the club Timothy! If there's anything that you need help with please don't hesitate to ask! Especially if you're new to bass, you might find this intro course helpful: thebassist.net/archive/the-bassics-2/

Very cool. that palm mute and the upstroke was really cool. dug the way you guys interacted and it was really easy to see the plucking motion he was doing with his fingers, which is something i've been missing. really cool video! great playing gents.
