  • I've used a 2ft friction saver and a 4ft friction saver! But just like the stihl 200t, once you go adjustable friction saver, there is NO going back! I'm very happy i added this to my list of tools! Thank you to everyone who recommended me to get this friction saver!

    To make it lighter on your flip line, you can always use a non cable one with aluminum snaps. But, I use to prefer cable flip line for removals and palms and a non cable for pruning. Palm trees were the first tree I climbed as a rookie. Cool memories! I’ve seen very talented climbers get intimidated when having to climb palm trees. Good work bro!

      Thanks bro! I love how light the Petzl zillon is when I climb palms with it. But yeah, wire core is the smartest thing! I appreciate you watching this 🌴🌴🌴* aluminum snap would be nice

    I love the adjustable. I 2 different ones. I would have put one more wrap on that prusik to make the friction saver tighter on that palm. but it worked!

      You want at least 2+ inches on the friction saver for you to retrieve it from the ground safely 🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴

      I really want to but I don’t have an angle grinder. Going to look into getting a spiced landyard, or wire core if possible 🌴

    How do you like it? Do you just run your rope through the rings? And what size rope are you running with your zigzag? I'd like to get a rope with a closed loop like yours, but my zigzag is hard enough to get on the rope already lol

    • @mr.benitezhimself
      @mr.benitezhimself  Před 4 lety +4

      I love it! Yes just straight thru the rings. I’m using the blue moon Yale rope. I believe it’s 11.5 mm. Super smooth on the zigzag 🌴
