- This was my Day 1 ride out at Lillooet. I rode to Lillooet from Calgary on July 3rd and camped at the free BC Hydro campsite just south of town.
This was my July 4th ride to Pavilion, Pavilion-Clinton Road, Jesmond Road, Big Bar Ferry Road, and back to Lillooet.
This also includes a side trip to the High Bar Ferry Road and Cougar Point.

That looks like a great trip. I've done a few motorcycle camping trips through the Sierra Nevada and am looking forward to being in Calgary starting next year. My brother Dean and I are inspired to replicate some of your trips.
Hey thanks for sharing. Beautiful scenery I enjoyed it.
It is spectacular in there. Thanks for watching and commenting.
This area and the Chilcotin… my favorite riding country. Loved the tour. Will be heading back soon. Cheers ~Grizz
Thank you very much. I enjoy and subscribe to your channel. Very, very inspirational. In fact, it has me inspired to do an End of the Road Tour, which will include Canol North and Nahanni Range Road, to name two of the destinations.
I do really like this area and was going to do Gang Ranch first, but I had done it in 2020 so figured, next time.
Not sure if you heard but there was a big landslide by Farwell Canyon which I believe has closed the road for now until they get the water flow figured out.
This area is my favorite part of the province, I live in Kamloops and go out there lots in the summer. Great video, thanks.
Thanks for watching. I remember driving through Kamloops in about 1980 thinking, what a fantastic place for a bike like a WR250 or a 400 of sorts. Now I can see all the fantastic riding for all sorts of bikes there.
You live in a beautiful part of the country and visiting the Lillooet area is spectacular.
If you want to connect high line rd after this tour, it's only 5km each way back to Lilloet to get gas at the bottom of Pavilion rd ...
Tks for the credit comment btw
You are welcome. Your intel was greatly appreciated and I have more follow up to do on other stuff you mentioned.
I am pretty sure I saw a sign that there was gas in Seton Portage. I didn't see a station myself.
That highway and route down to Seton Portage was great to ride as well.
One of my best days of riding.
Did you spot any bears? I was in Grande Cache, AB on July 3rd and rode my KLX300SM up to Sulphur Gates at 7:30pm and had a close call with a black bear at the side of the gravel road. I could not stop so I had to ride around him. Always carry bear spray and keep it in an easy to reach spot on your bike. Nice country some of it looks like desert to me.
No bear encounters on this trip but I do carry bear spray. This is quite a ways from Grande Cache though.
I would highly recommend riding Gang Ranch from Riske Creek to Clinton, this this route, followed by the High Line Road from Seton Portage.
