The drivers are the very tiny point at the tip at the end of the spear (or arrow), supported by the work of thousands beneath them. Must be an absolutely otherworldly feeling being one of those drivers.
Willy Lamb, yet if the tip wasn't sharp enough then no matter how strong or sturdy the rest of the spear (or arrow) was, the effectiveness would be muted.

This team is something else...I love everything called "Mercedes" since I was a kid, but the way you take the sport...so professionally so passionately speaks on the track itself. And the way you interract with us. You show us, what's behind Lewis and Valtteri...This is so incredible. It makes someone like me who loves the brand so much feel like a part of the team.

What a fantastically articulate chap, James is. His enthusiasm about teamwork is contagious, and he seems to be a truly humble, down-to-earth guy. WIth folks of this caliber setting the tone from the top (yes, Toto, too), it is no wonder the team is enjoying so much success.

What an amazing garage to store the previous cars, the leather sofa looks right as well. Always fascinated of the process to integrate all the new concepts and components together to make a F1 car. James Allison does a wonderful explanation.

Better team, better drivers, less political and way more freedom. Mercedes is the team James has been waiting to work for. An engineers dream.
@@Bahamuttiamat also take into account he had to go through deep personal losses while at Ferrari too. I agree with your statement, but the personal side impacts deeply your state of mind too.
When James was at Ferrari, his wife unfortunately became very ill and passed away. It's nice to see a smile on his face nowadays though.

One day, I hope to get a significant other that speaks with so much passion and eloquence. Just as James Allison has for the process of building Mercedes's F1 car, you can just tell how much time and dedication everyone associated with this project, has poured into the W10
Mercedes have been the most quiet of all teams throughout the winter; just focused on doing what matters most. Got a feeling this chassis is going to be something special.
James Allison’s passion for these machines is why I’m a Mercedes fan. Couldn’t care less about Lewis or Valterri, hell Schumi was my all time favorite and I didn’t care much for M-AMGF1 in those years. But when we started getting to hear the joy and excitement that James has for these cars and this sport, it made me realize that the Italians with the red cars aren’t the only ones passionate about their machines.
This team has won something only time can achieve.... Respect and legacy . Respect for Lewis too . Hope to see the best of Mercedes and Ferrari this season .

mike elliot is head of aero, along with james allison built the robust 2012/2013 lotus. Was the pioneer in serrations (cutting up solid surfaces). Famed 2016 mercedes W floor.
rob thomas is coo. Aldo is now in an advisory role, was lead engineer. All these guys are legends. With numerous championships under their belts. Isn't really a surprise they've dominated.
I am defenitely not a Mercedes fan - I love Ferrari with all of my heart. But these videos you make, the impressions you give with this material, it's absolutely awesome! And for me as a mechanical engineer student I love to see this as a goal for my future! Everything looks so perfect... The factory, the enthusiasm and energy everyone puts into the project... I really love all the atmosphere. Well done and thank you for this clip!

Before a Mercedes fan I was a Hamilton fan. I never thought a team that wasn't up to the mark at that time considering Red Bull and McLaren and even Williams but the sheer passion and love for this sport and always excel in advancing the sports has made This team a dream come true.
