Brianna Aponte it depends on your prescription. I feel like I look better in over sized frames, but I can't wear them because I have a high minus. They cause my peripherals to become distorted. I have to go with smaller frames to combat this.

Use snapchat and trace your face with the drawing tool instead of drawing on your mirror with lipstick...it's much easier

No one ever has any tips for oval faces... it's always just "do whatever!" but there are DEFINITELY ways to flatter/unflatter your face no matter what the shape, so give us something to work with please!!
I have an oval face and can't do very large frames, they make my eyes look closer together. I think distance of eyes plays a part too. :)

quinintheclouds square and rectangular glasses are best. My friend has an oval face shape and went for round glasses and they really didn’t suit her face shape. I suggest to just try out different frames and see what complements your face.

I noticed I had a hard time to see about 5 months ago, when people started telling me I squeezed my eyes while trying to see something small far away and also I couldn't copy what was in the board in school when I sat too far away from it. I tried to keep it a secret because I didn't want to get glasses I didn't like them. Than one day someone I notice my difficulty and started making fun of me, I was really sad because that person was a close friend of mine. I ran down crying being followed by my best friend. Long story short, a teacher came a screamed at the kid who teased me and gave him a good speech about bullying. After that everybody knew I needed glasses so it was no secret anymore. My mom has my eye doctor scheduled and I didn't want to get glasses but after this video I'm exited! I'm a circle and I'm think I'm going to look adorable in square big glasses! Thanks Michelle! You made me have more confidence on myself and be more proud of who I am! Your awesome and caring! Luv ya! (Lol such a big comment)

I got an oval face shape and I personally think not all kinds of glasses suit my face shape. My first 3 glasses looked terrible on me as I didn't do my research and didn't try on many frames. Now, I love my 4th pair. For me, big rectangle frames look great on me. Frame colors and styles also impact your look.

Try going in the mirror, Putting your hands around each side of your face, and try to narrow your decision down, if you still have over 1 Options in your list, try looking at it again, the details. You could also try ask People their opinion. I used this technique and found my face shape- a Rectangle!

I used to have a round face, and I could never fin glasses that looked good on me! That’s why I wore contacts. I lost 25 lbs my face is more angular and I have a heart shape face like my mom now! I just got glasses that are big with a subtle circle shape. I’m obsessed with them! I still wear contacts most of the time, but I always wear my glasses at least once or twice a week.

AnimeFreak792 I am the EXACT same way with hipster glasses!! I really wanted to wear them, but when I put them on, I looked absolutely horrible in them :( Try more rectangular glasses for an oval face. Those are the ones that always work for me.
I have round glasses, and they can look good depending on the angle. I can't find a flattering hairstyle for them other than loose and since my hair is hip length that's not very useful. Any tips?
For oval shapers, please try rectangular frames especially ones with a smaller lens/eye height like 33-35mm. It looks amazing. I once tried large round frames and I was not impressed.
