Sangita questions the IDF's targeting of civilians in their 'pursuit of Hamas', Colonel Peter insists that Israel's main goal is to 'eliminate any terrorists.'
When asked about the proportionality of Israel bombardment of Gaza, the IDF spokesperson tells Sangita that he believes the death toll is 'proportionate.'

So the IDF send millions of these maps to the people of Southern Gaza to move from area 1 to area 2 to safeguard their lives. Why can't this interviewer understand that a breach of the cease fire by Hamas means that they can't be trusted? So what would be the point of further negotiations at that time? The IDF said before the ceasefire two things. One, that, in their opinion, it was military action that forced Hamas to ask for a truce and offer hostages in exchange for Israeli prisoners. Two, that whatever happened the war would be continued afterwards. Hamas knew that and, obviously, decided to get in first. Perhaps because they don't have the hostages. Perhaps because they were ready to resume hostilities. Who knows?. They reneged on the hostage deal and recommenced hostilities. Israel then responded. That's the sequence of events but, because Hamas SAYS it's Israel's fault we are supposed to accept that it's just, 'each side blaming the other'. How the Israelis keep their cool with these dishonest, passive aggressive, wilfully ignorant interviewers I can't imagine.

For example the peaceful protesters that the IDF gunned down for protesting on the Palestine side of the border, which inevitably caused anger and uproar, leading to hundreds being killed by the IDF and 20,000 injured, this happened a few years ago.
This attack was absolutely horrendous, disgusting. But it’s Hamas who called for an effort to form a 2 state solution years ago, Israel rejected it and continued their occupation and political power over the region.
They keep back to October 7 … but the history started years before the 7of October…. The reality is that Palestinians been suffering for decades they died every single day … Israel steal their hopes their future and their lifes as a matter of fact

It’s an interview and when you ask simple questions like “how many Hamas fighters have you killed” and he goes onto an unhinged rant/tangent about how Hamas must be removed and we can’t let them go back to power and he’s then asked AGAIN how many they’ve killed and he starts the script from the beginning sometimes you have to mute the propaganda merchants.

The IDF spokesperson said that Hamas broke it when it, as he asserted, broke the deal. Her question confronted him by asking if Netanyahu said Israel was going to continue bombing no matter what, why did it even matter what Hamas did.

If Hamas cared about the Palestinian citizens, they could have handed all the hostages over and surrender.
