Hey Ron this Brunswick Landing is nice, nice area too, I'm going to stay until Monday we got 3 days of storms coming so don't feel like getting under way......although I just put new wipers on hahaa
I don’t blame you ! And it is a nice area to visit
I installed the same model on my 98 Cruisers Yachts 3650 and have been pleased. I replaced the original massive battery charger that was not very efficient.
Thanks for the comment - it always makes me feel better about a purchase to know it has successfully worked for someone else !
Don't be alarmed if voltage drops once every 24 hours, it does a reassessment and takes a small break, it bugged me for a week till I looked it up in the book came with it hahaa
Thanks - I wasn’t aware of that
one more thing, you should or may already have a volt and amp gauge on the helm so you know how many amps etc without going into the engine room to look ........
Good advice! The old battery charger had a remote indicator panel on the overhead monitor panel by the lower helm. When I read the instructions on the new charger, I discovered it does have a companion remote panel as well but I will need to order it. Thanks!
@CruisingThisOldBoat it's only a display, you can't control anything or program, reset etc, just a display, just so you know...so maybe a cheeper display/ meter would be better for your budget, I almost bought it too but I already had one , that's how I knew about it shutting off every 24 hours to reassess itself.
@@doncritzer2798 - interesting - I wonder if my old display would work with it - I think they both use the same type of connector
@CruisingThisOldBoat I kept my old one on my helm , its just connected to the batteries yup......just trying to save ya money Ron
@@doncritzer2798 - I like saving money ! Thanks
