  • Cone drills is a fun and exhilarating way to get your cardio training in. Many that cardio needs to be done for long durations of time to be effective. Often, the opposite is true. If you do consistent cardio training for long durations at a slower pace, you might actually be training your body to gain weight and fat. The reason this happens is that long slow cardio training actually adds stress to your system which causes you to gain weight in those areas nobody want to gain weight (the midsection and hips).
Cone training can be performed for shorter durations and get faster, more effective results while increasing your enjoyment of your cardio training.
Join me in this videos as I show you a few drills you can perform using cones to get your cardio in.

      Hi Damodar,
There is potential for issues for knees and ankles on hard surfaces. If you already have these orthopedic issues, I would recommend doing these exercises on softer surfaces such as grass. If you don't have previous knee/ankle issues, make sure that you allow your body to absorb the force on jumping exercises during landing which means you need to land with knees slightly bent and let your muscles take on the force.
