  • In this video, I take you along on my journey as a solo female traveler in India. I start in Mcleod Ganj, exploring the Dalai Lama temple, then move to Dharamkot to enjoy some quiet time at Tushita meditation centre and hike to Gallu waterfall and the amazing Triund trek.
This hippy, spiritual town is not one to be missed. There is a certain sense of peace, happiness & hope in the air and I really didn't want to leave. My wish is for you to feel inspired by the end of this video! Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback in the comments.
    Much love and blessings, Yana

I remember 20 years back, info regarding such places used to spread through word if mouth within the traveling community. Now because of internet and vlogs, these places are no more hidden and attracts mass tourism and unwanted tourists

In a way I agree and I prefer quiet places too, but if the local people depend on tourism then it’s their livelihood. So there are negatives but also positives

Mass tourism is destroying the whole beauty of the place...prices are sky rocketing, traffic is horrible and every patch of greenery is hunted as a café or guesthouse

I found a lot of peaceful places still and beautiful nature. Unfortunately, it’s the local people that leave a lot of garbage everywhere and from what I’ve seen many foreigners help clean up the forests. Prices are surprisingly high yes, but that’s expected if you have an influx of tourism.
