    Thank you for showing the flexibility of the short vs long extension. I know your other videos have shown building out a short extension, but I always figured it would still have a lot of flexibility to it. But I guess you don’t get that until it gets longer.
    I love Karen in teacher mode. She really does have both the knowledge and the gift to teach.

    Tbh i use it under my hard gel. So far no issues and my nails are long and strong. I had lift problems with just hard gel but with this combo my nails never have any lifting. I had given up on gel but now thats all i do thanks to the fiber gel. I am so happy with it i want them in every color.😊

    Excited for this one 🎉 for my fibergel clients, if they break a nail. I sculpt out a new nail with hard gel and then I do a layer of Fiber Gel on top just so that the color matches if needed. If I'm polishing on top and it doesn't bother my client, I just leave it clear

    What is the difference between Mani-Q and Fiber Gel

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Před 7 měsíci +4

      The Fiber Gel works great as an alternative to the ManiQ. The keratin in Fiber Gel helps to keep the natural nail healthy. Also, Fiber Gel bonds very well to damaged or thin/brittle nails and because of the micro fibers within it, the Fiber Gel forms more of a "mesh" for more durability.

    Does mani Q fiber gel needs a base coat? Pls respond. Thank u in advance

    Hi I think we just want to know if it’s a rubber base or structural gel ?

    • @jmrgunners
      @jmrgunners Před 7 měsíci +4

      If you watch the video again, she talks about it being a base. But she also talks about being able to create an extension with structure. Also, in the other videos they have done on Fiber gel, they discuss the extreme flexibility of it all the way to building structure. So I would say both!
      From personal experience with thin flexible nails, it works great on my natural nails because it is so flexible. It doesn’t crack when they bend. But, I have also created structure with an apex as my nails grow out longer.

      You can sugar over Fiber Gel, we would recommend using Ultimate Finish to sugar into do there’s no tacky surface after curing.

    Some people are under the assumption that fiber gel deposits vitamins into your nail and that's why they want to put it under other enhancements

      Thanks for mentioning this, Crystal!
      No nail product really deposits vitamins, including keratin very deep into the layers of the nail plate.
      A lot of us like to use a nail strengthening/repair treatment for the natural nail (made by another company 😉). It does penetrate through a few layers, but not all layers. Fibergel particles are larger than the particles of that other product, so even fewer will penetrate through the nail layers. That’s why we remove shine and kinds rough up the nail plate prior to application.

    What’s the recommended base coat, the hard base or soft? I always do a clear overlay first before adding a colored product, but I dont have clear YN fiber gel. thanks!

    Is hard gel the same as builder gel?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Před 3 měsíci +1

      A building gel is basically a gel that is use to build structure and depending on the product line, may be a hard or soft gel. In our Synergy Gel system, we have gels that are called Build and Build Pink. These are both hard gels used to build and sculpt the nails. In our line, we also have Sculptor and Concealer gels that are also hard gels and can be used for building structure to the nails.

    My large mystery box had the mani Q fiber gel and stain resistant top coat included? But you stated not to use the stain resistant top coat with the fiber gel? 😢

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Před 7 měsíci +1

      If you are applying the fiber gel thinly then using stain resistant will lead to cracks in the top coat. If it’s thick enough, we have had success using it.

    What would you use to thin out a fiber gel slick pour mix?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Před 7 měsíci +2

      We don't recommend mixing the Slick Pour powders with the Fiber Gel as this can get too thick. If you do mix them together, only use small amounts of the powder so it doesn't get too thick or affect the curing ability. If there is too much pigment, this may not allow the light to get through and fully cure the gel.

    Can you apply gel polish on top of the fiber gel or do I have to buff it then apply the gel polish color?

    • @jmrgunners
      @jmrgunners Před 7 měsíci +1

      I put gel polish right on top of fiber gel, off the goober gel doesn’t need to be filed. So if I just use a single coat of fiber gel as the base, I put color right on top. But if I build any structure and have to file it, then I use protein bond and apply color.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Před 7 měsíci +1

      You can go straight into a gel polish if you would like.
