It remind me with immense sarrow when i was student in 1976 I use to travell mianwali to attock by steram engine train that was a great time we used to see narrow gauge trains in MARRI INDUS our planner and ruller they did not maintained that service instead plundered railway track and other equipment as scrap...where as our neighbor INDIA still operate narow gauge services as for nornal use and tourist attraction in SHIMLA AND DARJEEELING ; ours have destroyed CHAKWAL RAILWAY LINE ,TARBELA DAM LINE,AND THE BEST HISTORICAL SERVICE FROM PESHAWER TO LANDI KOTAL SERVICE AND NARROW GAUGE SERVICE IN ZHOB BALOCHISTAN ALONG WITH METALLIC BRIDGES AND ALSO OLD GT ROAD BURHAN BRIDGE and other supporting installation looking like ruins....SO SAD TO REMEMBER ALL THOSE SERVICES ; TRAM SERVICE IN KARACHI...!!!!

wow, revived 45 years old memories. no words but wet eyes seeing this now. i was in mid teen years, during school vacations used to visit and stay with my uncle's family. uncle was railways officer. it was lively and busy place then. oh good old times. thanks for this vlog.

ahh you bring me to my child hood when i had traveled so many times on this narrow gage train with steam locomotive from mari indus till bannu. In summer vacation every year we travel from Lahore to bannu through train, first on Mari indus express then on narrow gage from mari till bannu. This narrow gage is some sort of connecting train that is why it waits for mari express before start its journey.

YES WHEN FOR FIRST TIME IN 1965 FROM KOHAT TO JAHNAD THEN BY PASANGER TRAIN TO DAWOODKHEL MARI INDUS AND BACK TO DAWOOD KHEL AND THEN TO MULTAN BY SAME TRAIN MY AGE WAS ONLY 14 ALHAMDOLILLAH NOW I AM 73

I remember that train too. It was a passenger train from Peshawar Cantt to Multan Cantt via Jand, Daud Khel (with a detour to Mari Indus), Kundian, Kot Addu and Sher Shah. It was permanently stopped in Musharraf's era.

میرے پاس Pak Rail نام کی جو ایپ ہے اس میں میانوالی ایکسپریس کا نام ٹرین شیڈول میں موجود ہے مگر ٹرین کا شیڈول موجود نہیں
اسی طرح اٹک پسنجر موجود نہیں
ایک اور ایپ پاک ریلوے موجود ہے مگر اس میں انفارمیشن غلط ہے
میں نے ذاتی طور پر ماڑی انڈس تک سفر کیا ہوا ہے ۔ اس وقت تھل ایکسپریس پسنجر ہوتی تھی اور اٹک ( کیملپور) تک جاتی تھی ۔ میانوالی کوئی مغرب کے وقت پہنچتی تھی اور ماڑی انڈس جا کر واپس داؤد خیل واپس آتی اور صبح تین بجے کے قریب کیمبلپور ( اب اٹک) پہنچتی تھی
واپسی پر صبح ماڑی انڈس پہنچتی تھی اور ملتان شام سات بجے کے قریب پہنچتی تھی
