یہاں سے چلنے والی زیادہ تر ٹرین بلکل خالی ہوتی ہیں وجہ یہی ہے کہ ٹرین کے اوقات بلکل غلط ہیں اور سفر کا دورانیہ بہت زیادہ ہے ۔ زیادہ تر سٹیشن آبادی سے دور ویرانے میں ہیں جہاں دن پہنچنا مشکل ہے تو رات میں تو ناممکن ہے ۔ ریلوے کو چاہئے کہ ٹریک اور ٹرین کی حالت بہتر کرے اور ٹرین کے اوقات ایسے رکھے کہ لوگ با آسانی سٹیشن پہنچ سکیں

مسان ریلوے اسٹیشن سے میری پرانی یادیں ہیں جب مارچ 1993 میں رمضان المبارک کے مقدس ماہ میں میں پشاور سے کراچی ملیر کینٹ تک پاکستان آرمی کی ٹرین کے ساتھ سفر کیا تھا اور وہ ٹرین دوپہر کے وقت تقریبا دو گھنٹے تک مسان ریلوے اسٹیشن پر رکی رہی تھی بہار کا موسم تھا اور ہم نے اس مسان ریلوے اسٹیشن کو خوب انجوائے کیا تھا۔ میں خود تو پاک آرمی سے نہیں ہوں لیکن فوجی بھائیوں کے ساتھ وہ سفر انتہائی دلچسپ رہا تھا اس ریلوے اسٹیشن پر ایک واقعہ بھی پیش آیا تھا جو یہاں نہیں بتایا جاسکتا۔ اس ٹرین کا روٹ پشاور سے اٹک ایم۔ایل۔ون پر اور پھر اٹک سے ایم۔ایل۔ٹو پر براستہ میانوالی کندیاں اور بھکر اور پھر کوٹ ادو شیرشاہ برانچ لائن سے ہوکر ایم۔ایل۔ ون پر اس ٹرین نے ہمیں پشاور سے کراچی چھ دن اور سات راتوں میں ملیر کینٹ پہنچایا تھا۔ رمضان المبارک کیوجہ سے وہ ٹرین سحری اور افطاری سے تین گھنٹے پہلے کسی اسٹیشن پر پڑاؤ ڈال دیتی تھی جبکہ آرمی کی اس یونٹ کے پاس کھانے پکانے یعنی سحری و افطاری کا ہر قسم کا بندوبست تھا یہاں تک کہ ان کے پاس لائیوسٹاک یعنی زندہ بکرے تک موجود تھے جنہیں وہ ذبح کرکے ٹروپس کو کھلاتے تھے اسی طرح پکوڑے بنانے کےلیے پاور فل اسٹوو اور روٹیاں پکانے کےلیے موبائل تنور تک موجود تھے جونہی ٹرین رکتی تھی تو ہر بندہ اپنی اپنی ڈیوٹی سنبھال لیتا تھا اور تازہ تیار کی ہوئی سحری اور افطاری ہر ایک کو ملتی تھی۔ مجھے یاد ھے کہ پشاور سے ہم رات کو روانہ ہوئے تھے اور ہم نے پہلی سحری اٹک جنکشن پر کی تھی اور پہلی افطاری ہم نے کندیاں ریلوے اسٹیشن پر کی تھی کچھ فوجی اہلکاروں خاصکر آفیسرز کے پاس کرکٹ کا سامان بھی تھا جن کے ساتھ ملکر ہم پلیٹ فارم یا ساتھ کسی گراؤنڈ میں اچھی خاصی کرکٹ کھیل لیتے تھے۔آرمی کی اسپیشل ٹرین کے بارے میں مجھے پتہ چلا تھا کہ اسے حالت جنگ میں سب سے پہلے جبکہ حالت امن میں سب ٹرینوں کے بعد روانہ کیا جاتا ھے جبکہ وہ ریلوے کے شیڈول کے مطابق نہیں بلکہ اپنے کمانڈنگ آفیسر کے آرڈر کو فالو کرتے ہوئے چلتی ھے کندیاں میں افطاری کے بعد ہماری اگلی سحری بھکر کے ریلوے اسٹیشن پر ہوئی تھی اس سے آپ ٹرین کی اسپیڈ کا اندازہ خود ہی لگا لیں؟ لیکن آپ یقین کریں کہ مجھے اتنے لمبے سفر کے باوجود مجھے زرا بھی تھکاوٹ نہیں ہوئی تھی کیونکہ چار چار گھنٹے کا کنفرم اسٹاپ ہوتا تھا اور ہم اسٹیشن سے باہر جاکر کسی حمام پر غسل کرکے کپڑے تبدیل کرکے دوبارہ سفر شروع کردیتے تھے اور ساتھ ساتھ کھیل کود بھی تو یوں وہ ریل کا سفر میری زندگی کا یادگار ترین سفر تھا جسے میں نے بہت انجواۓ کیا تھا۔

Very informative and fabulous video as always. The structure shown in the video is technically called “TRUSS” used for various load bearing members in steel structures like bridges, roofs and transmission line towers. Very famous Eiffel Tower, France is a classical example of Truss Steel Structure.
That particular truss member shown in the video was used to construct temporary railway bridges meant for transportation of very huge quantities of material required for construction of Tarbela Dam by WAPDA during 1967 to 1971. Just for sharing of information please.

Amazing, I have been at this station many times during our hunting trips in the area, our grandfather's time it was the only communication and connecting point for the locales to travel around India as most of them were serving in British Army and those who have to go to Attock City as being the district HQ and from their further to Mianwali, Kundian or Rawalpindi, Peshawar or Lahore. It was quite active spot at that time and then eventually other means of transportation appear on the list and think this is abandoned now. The proposed Kalabagh Dam site also is very near to it and this station also had have to serve the project. I think Nawab of Kalabagh owns the property around it and have some major influence in creating this station. Few years back when I visited this area it was full of local outlaws and troublemakers of Bani Afghan .. anyway i just loved to see this God bless

I have travelled couple of times vintage station and rough environment.The steel bridge in your video was dismantled from Lawrence pur Ghazi section when Tarbela dam was in construction stages.... lovely video

Haven't been active for long for certain reasons... Great to see your vlogs... Long time needed to catchup... Firstly great that you have covered some of the most remote routes and undoubtedly exploring one of the most neglected routes of PR... Just compare it with ML-1, ML-1 route almost handles 90% of the traffic, comes in 2nd most priority is ML-2 on theoretically, but just compare it on reality both are mainlines but still the infrastructure is differences are of stone ages... And great that you chosen this place to represent, just look at the railway official's including SM ,under what hard circumstances and problem they are working on, deep respect for them...unfortunately almost every IR officials are also going through some hard circumstances where an LP and ALP of train has to work 9-15 hrs on one shift and gets only 4hr rest before the next shift and still people expect accidentless railways ... The circumstances might be different but still difficulties are difficulties and need to dealt with... Anyways lets hope Masan railway station will get another train with stops and the railway officials would get some better accomodities in future... Anyways great video sir cheers

Very exclusive and explanatory blog. We can say that it's a vintage blog. First of all, I can say that Railway 🚂 network started in the Historical era/regime of the then British periods regime of Lord Delhouzi's East India Company was based in Calcutta City of India before Indipendance period and later on the maintenance of the entire network took by both India and Pakistan Governments and at present the same maintenance work is going on till todate. Thanks to the Gangmen staff of both the countries. Thankyou Fahim Bhai for making this Google blog.
